This should turn into an elytra course. Many holes around the hermitcraft server, each one with a lama hanging while holding a chest. Start from one of the holes, fly into the void colecting the items on the hanging lamas and exit in the finish. Each item gives a set number of points (only one per lama), the hermit who collects more points win.

Instead of using an item frame, you can make an armor stand hold red concrete and move it into the button, that should stop it from flickering.

I have the best idea for pranking other hermits: you build a contraption that traps a hermits enderpearl in a bubble column or a slimeblock bouncer. then you make them forget that they threw this pearl and make them take of their elytra. connect the button for the void pit to a delay and then to the enderpearl contraption and make the ender pearl hit a wall. the delay should be as long as the hermits fall into the void but before they die they get teleported back.

You could make a little interrogation type situation with a chair for “visitors” and a desk for you, your desk would have a button and if the visits I or misbehaved you could press the button and their chair would fall out from underneath them sending them into the void! Obviously you could still throw items down but I think it would add to the idea of sending players down

Hey Zed! The reason the pig bounces on the lead is because of its faster descent, whereas the chicken falls slowly. Use a slow falling potion on the pig before you drop it in to prevent it from suffocating you when it bounces. Edit: didnt realise everyone else had the same idea before i did...

I have a suggestion as well. What if you invented Void Travel. Hear me out, ight. Basiclly, you have a large (3x3) hole in the bedrock floor at two locations. You fly with elytra and can get from Point A to point B with no obstacles. I noticed how fast you went under the void, and it might be my mind playing tricks but it seemed faster than above the surface. You could also do this with the nether floor to make it even faster. With some slow falling this will be an amazing travel tactic. Also, you could have a subscription service for void travel making others pay for the use of the void holes.

You could make a funpark ride with multiple pigs, hanging spaced a few blocks apart under the Bedrock. Slow falling potions should calm their bouncing, and an Enderpearl gives a relatively safe way back out. Sell tickets!
