the first time i heard this in game i cried. back in 2021 i was in a very bad place emotionally. and then i played ZeroRanger, thanks to a recommendation in a youtube video. i fell in love with it almost instantly, and when i eventually beat it, and this song started playing when meeting erasure in their true form... it felt so special. like all the struggle and pain that i have put myself through actually made me stronger, made me smarter, and layed down a path where i could get eventually better. i finally understood what attaining enlightment meant. and now is 2023. a lot has changed, for the better. Void Stranger is very different from ZeroRanger in a lot of ways, but reason i cried when i heard this song in Void Stranger specifically was because i felt that everything had come full circle. a few years ago, when i first heard this song, life was hard, and things didn't really seemed to have much meaning, but now i realize how far i have come. i DID go down the path where things got better, and the bad times only remain as a simple memory. i can't really put into words how truly grateful i am for your music, Eebrozgi. you and Ebbo have not only made two of my absolute favorite pieces of media of all time, but your music has sincerally helped me in times where i was confused, scared, and tired of feeling weak. thank you, and i wish you the best of luck. I don’t know how to put it but when I completed Zeroranger years ago this track flipped a switch in my brain, the moment changed me fundamentally as a person And hearing it again, at the end of a long and arduous journey… All I can say is thank you. I'll be real, when this game got announced instead of Green Onion, I was disappointed. ZeroRanger is one of my favorite games of all time, and I'm notoriously not that great at puzzle games. I still got this game on release because hey, this team makes amazing games that move me. And I am so happy to be wrong about VoidStranger. It's by far my favorite puzzle game ever now, and while I still prefer ranger because I simply like shmups more, this game is through and through an amazing continuation. If I have to wait through even more amazing games like this for Green Onion, I will happily do so. Through a year of absolutely amazing games that seemingly came out every week, VoidStranger stands as by far my favorite experience to go through. It really captured that feeling of old school game rumors, that feeling that a game is truly it's own world with it's own history and secrets ready to be solved. I feel like I could map out the labyrinth of DIS in my sleep now, and every new discovery surprised me with a "OH THEY THOUGHT OF THAT?!" uttered every time. So keep doing all that crazy shit you guys are geniuses at. I'll patiently and eagerly wait for the next adventure you all cook up.

Putting aside the feelings this song evokes, I can’t help wondering. This song also plays at the end of ZeroRanger, and also at the end of ZeroRanger, you could hear Void, the first song of Void Stranger. (Specifically when finding Erasure’s monitor after the true end.) This song has three major parts, the melody of Brewing, ZeroRanger’s first song (aside from Somewhere In Time), the droning synths of Void, the first song of Void Stranger, and a piano that is prominent throughout the song. We heard avoid in ZeroRanger, so does that mean one of Void Stranger’s songs is meant to be a part of System Endless? And then I think of the sudden rhythm mini game in Void Stranger, the waltz played by a piano, and the piano in this song sounding almost as if it’s shifting between 4/4 and 6/8.

honestly, I wish void stranger would stop referencing zero ranger, I haven't played it, and dislike shmups a little, and I feel a little annoyed that I won't be able to get to all the content of the game because of that... even though I know it's all optional, and got plenty of enjoyment out of all the other 60 hours I spent on the game xd It made the final few parts of the game very dissatisfying for me, bc most of it is just "look! It's like in zero ranger! there's a shmup! and the lore is all connected!" and I couldn't relate to any of it.

if you enjoyed void stranger you will love zero ranger too. I was neither a fan of shmups or puzzle games. These two games will forever be treasured by mr and Void Stranger is now my favorite game of all time.
