First time I heard this I said "it's communicating" Now re listening, I can see it more clearly, it says it's piece, gets excited when the second part is responded to, then frustrated, that burst of unpleasant noise followed by the message had major "you're not listening to me, shut up and listen, this is what I'm saying" energy

This song is so strange. I keep coming back to it. It feels like the composer is in pain, almost. I understand what griffin meant when he said they were hypnotized by the song

Spoilers ahead: Super late to the party, but I really like to think that this is the song that Fischer sang when it first met Magnus in the Stolen Century, a song passed down from parent to child. When they had to leave the plane with the Conservatory, Magnus had to calm down Fischer with a song, something to comfort them. Like a parent holding you and telling you that everything’s going to be alright. This is just a headcanon (as far as I’m concerned, I haven’t seen anything about this being confirmed) but it just makes the scene with Johann more… heartbreaking? The song that once may have brought Fischer comfort is now a cry for help.

For music or podcasts? The Adventure Zone has a rough start, but only gets better with each episode. For music, search TAZ music, but be aware of major spoilers! (Listen to the podcast first, trust me)

@@origamisquid5311 story context helps the motion all beat of the songs, BUT they're still good. Upbeat jams include Wonderland parts 1-3, The Purple Worm, Assault on the Moonbase. More emotional tracks are Lucretia, Forgetting, The Chalice, Arms Outstretched, and Besieged. Griffin McElroy whole discography is on bandcamp and makes really good background music!
