Miss Mikko is such a great interviewer. Both of the couple have time to express their ideas, she doesnt talk over them. I can just imagine the work and research that goes in each video.
This is the coolest house. Learning about the owner builders perspective and designing a house around their family Needs. Like being able to open the door with your foot to carry a sleeping child to bed. That is the cutest thing I’ve ever heard! So many good ideas in this dwelling.

Thank you for the tour and also providing English subtitle. The house looks great and very close to my personal preference so I watch it with a lot of interest. It's fascinating to hear the details and design process of the house from the owner/designer. I also love the pacing of the video, it's very calm but engaging.

This design has probably had the biggest influence on my kitchen design. I did not copy the layout…..rather…I listened to what their “preferences” were. I don’t mind cooking facing the wall…. I don’t mind washing dishes facing a wall….so, I have my cooktop facing a wall and I have my sink facing a wall. I do like having distinct areas for food preparation, cooking, and washing, and eating. So, I kept these areas separate from each other. I think having an “interior architect” is very valuable to the deign of a home. Great job Yoko Suzuki.

Thank you for this house tour series. I could also see creative ideas and concepts for my future house someday. All of the homes you've shown us are beautiful. My favorites are Vol. 16, Vol. 8, and Vol. 7. I think it's because of the way the sunlight penetrates the house through the glass. ❤

Osaka dialect is very popular nowadays, especially in the entertainment industry because it is colourful and vocal and an easy dialect to grasp. My in-laws speak a Tohoku dialect and it is very interesting and almost foreign to those of us familiar with Tokyo-ben. It sounds nothing like Tokyo-ben at all. I think all these dialects in Japan are fascinating and hope you find time to learn more about them and appreciate differences. It can be loud at first, but it is also fun and informative..
