This song reminds me of enlightenment. Breaking free of those mental traps you designed yourself. Being in this world, seeing the purple water shining. It's a brilliant song.

The brilliance behind this track, let alone the whole band, is staggering. You guys have brought a style of progressive metal that is both melodic and original, and I love it. I can only hope you guys make it to the U.S. one day.

This song, and enter are my favourite VOLA songs, inmazes is just amazing, i love how it just builds up throughout the song, then you get hit with a super strong outro 4:10 - 7:30

It´s amazing how a lot of their songs punch you right in the gut in the first couple of minutes and then try to confort you near the end xD (Owls also does the same thing and it is just perfect!) Keep it up guys, love the band!

Vola, you've simply amazed me. I've been in a musical slump in the past year or so, where nothing is just giving me the same feeling anymore. I discovered your music and my passion has lit again, chills running down my spine through almost every song. Thank you for making amazing music.

Every time I come back to this tune I play it about 15 times in a row. It's so good. The lyrics, the melody, the solo introducing the awesome mellow rhythm section. They lullabye keys in the outro. The chill drum beats. The wall of sound. Kudos.

I heard lightning strike I saw bodies moving I took up the fight into valleys glooming I have caught them all Every glimpse of failure Why do you still call and question my behaviour? I heard lightning strike I saw bodies moving I will move if my strings would start approving She must find another home But she won't leave a man of silence Hear these voices hear the cheers of choices There are colors following your kind Don't you dare forget the purple water shining You've been dressed in disaster and turned every brick that your head will combine Now why are you still trapped in mazes you designed?

I just discovered this band today and was listening to this song on Spotify. I paused it and came to listen to it on KZbin for two reasons 1) To see how many other people had the same thought, and 2) To see if it sounds even more like 'Dancers' when sped up. Heh

The idea of the first riff was somehow clearly borrowed from meshuggah , but that does not counter the fact that this is the most complete (in a sense of mood and music) song I have ever heard.
@Earthgazer9 жыл бұрын
i thought it was borrowed from Erotic Cakes by guthrie govan
@grigy979 жыл бұрын
+UnderATallTree You're right it does , but I meant the whole concept of the first riff.
@erakattack6 жыл бұрын
Definitely. The structure of the whole intro until the heavy riff stops is pretty much a copy of Meshuggah's "Dancers To A Discordant System"

Not to argue or anything - I just discovered this band, but guys - familiarizing this band with other bands doesn't necessarily mean it's stolen work. It might actually be composed parallelly with the famous bands. My music is sometimes familiarized with bands I've never heard of, but very similar in the genre I end up being... It's just the ears inside guys :) Peace and metal

@@heavymetalrybakina that's the point of meshuggah lol. They are not interested in melody. They are interested in awesome rhythm cycles. The only time meshuggah has melody is when our lord and savior Fredrik thordendal takes an awesome guitar solo.
