needs more texture. i love your voice. i love your band. this doesn't work. it feels one directional. drums and guitar are simple but that's not the issue. you're using the same tones but they dont fit this genre. if i show VOLA to a person that loves djent prog metal, they love it. If i show an ambient semi-country guy singing, it doesn't make sense. there's no one that's looking for this but your fans. your voice is amazing and VOLA is flawless. This half breed doesn't work

Listen to the album version of the song then lol, I doubt their goal is to fit "this genre" whatever that means. Plenty of people who prefer an acoustic moody intense song to senseless and repetitive djent riffs. You're a little lost here buddy.
