We are exhilarated to present to you our brand new single ‘HEAD MOUNTED SIDEWAYS’. Produced by Asger Mygind and mixed & mastered by Jacob Hansen (Katatonia, Evergrey, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy among others), the song moves into new sonic territory with what is probably our most expansive production to date. To explore the song visually we reached out to the young, upcoming Finnish director duo Riivata Visuals, who built a world from scratch around the track and added their own dark and energetic twist. Stream & download the track 'Head Mounted Sideways' here: smarturl.it/Vola-MLG

There is some quality of a rare, few artists that know just how to get a frequency dialed in. It presents itself as audio but, in actuality, uses that medium as a trojan horse to get to something deeper, maybe even profound. Bjork was a master of this. I can't think of any other examples at the moment, probably because the hair on the back of my neck is still standing up. This song has so much going for it. There's five different kinds of vocals(robot, strong chorus, soft bridge, scream, outro speaking voice), the electronic effects are off the wall(reminds me of Rammstein) and match perfectly with the other instruments even though they refuse to play anything simple. Also the chorus is one of the best I've ever heard. VOLA is going far.
