hi i bought this speedboat: vector sr65 i currently use its 11.1v 25c 2200mha battery i know you can use 14.8v battery i heard it locks up every now and then ... i was wondering but just by chance just replace the motor ? what do you suggest me? let me know that I would like to buy the 14.8v battery and make it work smoothly?

Hello i see that the cable drive shaft of the boat is made of braided wire not totally steel like the feilun ft011. Isn't easy to break because of the friction of the cable? I was going to buy the udi005 but people says that the cable drive shaft breaks to easily because of the friction of the cable and this volantex has the same cable

40km/h - 3s battery. Boat`s ESC supports 4S batteries. About supporting 4S by brushless motor I haven't information. If use 4S - boat must run faster than 40km/h, but motor can be owerheated and burn out

Nope it's the transmitter.... I know I put charged batteries in and still nothing at all.... Everytime I buy an rc something is fucked up on it. I'm returning it I meant to get a larger one anyways. It was a birthday gift from the wife.

Nicely done video & good filming. I like the build quality of this boat compared to the Feilun FT011. The SR65 doesn't seem to run as fast on 3S 40kph/25mph isn't really fast but probably would be on 4S & it's capable of more on 3S with a good Dasbota prop. I definitely like the sturdier driveline & hardware on this boat compared to the FT011. Nice lake too btw love all those weeping willow trees👍👍💛 Thanks for sharing man. 😷

Thanks for your nice video. I just ordered a Vector SR65 through Amazon to hopefully avoid another busted Banggood item slow shipped from China. Apparently ExHobby in Florida will ship. Any pointers you can give me, other than to tighten all the fasteners, check the cooling tubes, lube the prop shaft and check the radio/receiver for function and range? I have four 3S 2200mAh 30C G2 smart batteries with EC3 connectors and a Spektrum 2200 double smart charger. I've ordered EC3 to xt60 adapters (think the boat uses an xt60 connector). Thanks for your thoughts!

All what you want to do with this boat - all is right! Your batteries which you have also must be good for this boat.

@@81hermit Got the Volantexrc 65 and it's pretty cheaply built. The receiver arrived loose in the hull and not connected and the decals were wrinkled. I may send it back to Amazon and wait for a Proboat jetboat due in early September.

I use this boat with 3S battery, but I saw how people use this boat with 4S battery. On boat`s ESC we can see information about supporting 2-4S.

Sr65 versus ft011 who is better? Anda faster?!

Sr65 use 3S battery, ft011 can use 3S and 4S. Both these boats on 3S have approx one speed, but if ft011 use with 4S - it will be faster than Sr65
