The Volca Sample is only used for drums (custom sample bank).
The Volca and the OP-1 are synced thanks to the PO-SYNC mode of the OP-1. The jam was recorded with a UFX1204 mixer, then mastered in Ableton Live.

Simple, subtle, methodical and soothing all at the same time! Great work ! Quite possibly my favourite track of yours to date ! Thanks for sharing your hard work 👍! I have a few Volcas and an OP-Z, but still have a desire for the OP-1 mainly driven by great creative inspirational videos such as this. We’ve all heard the hype. As an experienced user, may I ask your opinion on the OP-1 workflow and integration with other kit such as the Volcas ? Is it still as unique as we read ? Thanks again....it really is appreciated.

Thanks for your comment! The OP-1 is really a beast when you want to just write music, try things or experiment. It really is a composition tool, it's not designed to be used in live setups. The integration with other hardware is quite limited. I love its workflow, it's like a tiny DAW!

Groovin' as always! Love that chord progression. Were you controlling the 4 track levels on the OP-1 when you were twisting the knobs? And then the EQ signal at the end?

Yes, you can control the level of each track, and you can also control effects (here a filter)
