The continental crust is ten times thicker than the oceanic crust, so this movie is far from realistic explanation of the processes in the Earth crust. And what is more important, there is NO plate tectonics at all. The Earth is gradually expanding! Please consider this more promising hypothesis seriously!

@@MsMidnightrocker Yes, the continental crust is lighter than the oceanic crust (we know this fron the isostasy mechanism). But if you have a thin metal sheet and a thick brick on the table, it does not mean that the metal sheet would try to go down. Seriously, the mantle should be denser than all kinds of the crust (again, isostasy tells us this is true), so subduction hyothesis is funny. Please show continental drift and subduction tricks in the kindergardens.
