@@johnhokanson381 honestly I think a lot of that is my right hand. I used the same preset I use for most of my videos, so the tone isn't anything different. It's the "JD Rhythm 2" preset in the Neural DSP Gojira plugin.

Finding a section of the song that's an obvious open chug part. Use that to match the low note. If there's any parts where they clearly hit all the high strings open, use that to determine if it's dropped or standard. Doesn't always work if the song doesn't have parts like those. Otherwise I just look up live videos etc and do some homework lol
