easily my favorite skate video of all time with the best skate video soundtrack of all time. turned me on to both Ween and ASG when i was in high school

I just watched this treasure after 17 years of hiatus : what a shock, this video was so inspiring when I was 17, and it is even better now ! Aging like fine wine : 16mm all the way, a various panel of skaters and places around the world, poetic and graphic editing, a surreal mini session in the end, a tremendous Busenitz part, an incredible Lewis Marnell introduction, I could go on and on (Atom Heart Mother !)... Not a all the kind of production we used to watch by this time, very unique. Thanks Skate Video Vault, thanks Volcom. Soooo much underrated !

2004 was a tough year to follow a few legendary videos. Chicagof, and Hot Chocolate were the best, but I *loved* this video especially. Huge soundtrack!

I had this video when it came out. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it. I’m 35 yo now but every once in a while the song that Dolls and Marnell skated too pops in my head. I get so hyped and wanting to skate when that happen. Love that part.

I remember paying $30 when this came out… adjusted for inflation that had to have been an absurd price. I just don’t understand how this was considered good skating even at the time. Compared to something like Almost Round 3, my goodness, I was so depressed I had spent that money on this DVD
@DWdawgable2 ай бұрын
To me, the point of this skate video was the art of the film itself. The filming, the editing, the soundtrack, the cut scenes. It feels like someone's personal expression of what skating should be about.
