VOLKA GEAR RAID 2! Stage - 19, 20 & 21! [Watcher of Realms]

Great guide, I completed it with Razaak. Some advice: You can solokill the first two enemies only with Wrath (awakened to 5) so you save cost, (you can also put the 3 star Narvi on the other side first and have it regenerate cost). In the first wave of enemies that need to be nukeed, you don't need to put a tank on the right if you time the nuke right. In the end, you have to do everything possible to save cost and timing well to remove the units before they die. Otherwise, you run out of cost for the boss fight. Wrath will take care of killing the boss by himself and you just have to cycle the immortal units in front of him (regulus, decimus and baron) you don't need a healer here, Wrath will heal itself. Stats: Razaak (A0): 15k attack, 90 CC, 280 CD. Wrath (A5): 11k attack, 100 CC, 340 CD, 200 spd.

thank you for this, i finally passed stage 19 using this strategy. i made some changes though - instead of isolde + wrath at the start, i used 1 single ranged fighter (either zilitu or valkyrie) and Dalyn instead of the green hero you used. Dalyn gave some cost rebates sometimes so it's really nice too :) i find that my hatsutt didnt even need dolores to one shot the waves too~ so i saved some costs here and there :)

Finally did gr2-21, thank you for the help, I had so much trouble keeping vortex alive, so I just stacked multiple things on top of him 120 healing effect made a massive difference, also used elysian folios on him and orb of euphoria on dolores (just to make vortex heal faster) as well as olag next to vortex so he needs less heal (as he is not a priority in healing while shielded and splash damage is covered by the shield), hope this helps others beat it as well😊

It took me a while but finally I got through lvl 19 and with one dps (Hatssut) only, for some time I had problem with Dolores ultimate timing, she was to slow luckily Spirit Horn fix the problem. Thank you so much for the video, keep up the great work. Cheers mate.

This guide helped me clear 19 , took me awhile to get the timing right, in the end I didnt need to use a tank on the right until final wave, Vierna is a beast to say the least

Awesome to hear it mate, congrats on the win! One thing I forgot to mention (I just did not know at the time) is that the North faction gets a 5 second respawn reduction as part of their Faction Gallery Bonuses, if you don't have that unlocked the timings are much much harder! I just about did it on Test server without them but it was so much tougher. Best of luck with the gear farm mate :)

At 6:52 as soon as the boss starts slamming I think it's ok to despawn Regulus. If there are no heroes on the screen he goes back to normal, and you can deploy your other units again, to speed up the clearance. (Not that it matters here as you have plenty of cost spare, but I found it useful at times.)

Yup absolutely! I like to just leave it as it buys more time for respawns, on initial clearances. But absolutely when tidying up the auto-run I'd recommend that for sure :)

It works once it becomes automated in your mind with enough practice. One note though with isolde. Put her on the left side so she won’t die. I keep running into problems with her dying on the right side because mine is only 5-stars A1. I used a 6-star non awakened livian instead of regulus because i don’t have him (she’s a tank beast). The 8 cost fodder is important because cost management is tight. My decimus at the end did make the boss rage at the end of his defiance, so it was clear sailing after that. Everything else is the same team, and my decimus is wearing artifact lucky legacy (not sure if it even worked😂). One final note, you all must play decimus with patience. Allow the incoming boulders to partially cross your grid (less than a third) to give yourself time for the second boulder to hit and recall for a cost rebate.

Thanks for this strat! I followed it to the letter, instead of Vierna I used my Hatssut, and after a few hours I got it! Awesome vid I tried at first replacing Dolores with Laya, and it helped keep everyone alive better, but even fully skilled with some rage regen, I couldn't get her ultimate popped in time. Maybe if I had Spirit Horn it would work better. The extra Cost also started to add up. Decimus really is the MVP here. Hoping for that anti-heal Rare hero so we can get another Rare as the MVP of GR1-19 😅

Gonna have to mess with this a bit. No Vierna but my Maul seems to just barely do the trick, but the timing is close getting the tanks down again. My Vortex gets demolished by the 2nd round of boulders though even though he has the same HP as yours. I am missing the ATK Speed needed I think for him to survive. Otherwise, great vid!

Basically only BP matters. If your BP is below the stage’s BP, your guys basically do no damage and die right away. If you bump your BP up to above the stage BP, even by adding a character in the corner that does absolutely nothing, you will do great damage and pass it easily. Do t worry about team composition, just throw in your highest numbers. Also resetting and respeccing my talents helped me squeeze out some numbers.

I changed my isolde and livian with brokkir and olague Carter they are built better. The early wrath solo allowed me to waste costs by sacking volka on the last boulders because my tanks didn’t spawn in time on the right side.

Great video got me through with a few minor tweaks. Cyrene takes over after I banish Decimus and generates cost for me. Ghan in play instead of my Regulus, Silas replaces Vierna and Dolores as he’s so fast at killing. I have a A3 Elowyn instead of Vortex. Great help though!

This isn't a fair comment as this is endgame content. He also mentioned Vierna isn't absolutely necessary, and listed other options as well - Maul (epic), Razaak, Khamet. You can't be expecting to do endgame content without some legendaries or decent heroes :D Also, while it's true that most GR3 guide videos show using a piercer lord or Hatssut, currently MaBucket is one of the few who has a video on how to do GR3-19 without a piercer lord or Hatssut :)

Put decimus on a rapidity set to save costs (and lucky legacy artifact if you have it). And put Isolde on the left side to keep her from dying. I don’t know why, but she always dies for me on the right but not on the left (granted mine is only 5-stars).

I'm guessing it's because she's the squishier defender perhaps? Whichever side your Vortex is on will be receiving splash damage from the boulder tosses. Good point though, something I'm keeping in mind now :)

As with most of these videos, you kind of need very good gear to make your DDs do enough damage to kill the waves fast enough. Else you will get trouble with respawn timers, even with Volka in your team.

Auto works great :) Though I definitely tidy some things up after if needed, but honestly I find Volka strat autos significantly safer in autos than tanking with Sadie - because in this strat we despawn people, with Sadie strats sometimes people die, or survive and it messes everything up

A quick qns, MB. Your Vierna has very high crit rate, meaning to say it applies on her ultimate as well? Does crit applies to all spell in fact? (such as Zelus ultimate)

Nope, Sadie strat is quite tricky though compared to Volka. You need to make sure you're healing enough and everyone is tanky enough

I think it’s basically kill the mobs as fast as possible so you can recall fast to rebate the costs. This strategy is basically cost management and timing. The faster you can kill the mobs, the faster you can recall and their respawn timers start sooner for next scenario.

Ultra rare and only on certain tiers of rewards check the chests it'll show in game.

Could try Laurel? at 4/5 promotions if you place her next to maul and then despawn her she'll grant 50% rage to adjacent allies

Is there any trick to get better better results when enchating. I finally get gear piece with crit rate, crit dmg and it just gives me 3.5%. It's awful. It's already hard to get great gear, but this is killing it, especially with how much it costs to enchant.

It doesn't work because there is something false. at the beginning there is 27 points of cost available, you put Wrath on the field, and it takes only 5 points cost. How do you do that ? because I can't, and it does change everything later when you need to place your 2 tanks.....
