You calculate the multi-hit chance by multiplying the chance of NONE of them landing. So 3 hits with a 30% chance is best calculated by .7 * .7 * .7 = 0.343, or a 34.3% chance of it NOT landing, so a 65.7% chance of it landing. EDIT: Is it possible for the DEF DOWN debuff to land multiple times and stack? If so, this calculation I did is too simplistic, since landing multiple instances of the debuff becomes important to differentiate.

You can probably land the def break multiple times in the same skill but they don't stack, so I think your calculation is correct for the trigger chance

none of the debuffs actually "stacks", u can see like poison, they are separated instances of poison. Also I use a Gabriel almost in all content, and I can see her 2nd skill apply def down 2-3 times, but only 1 matter anyway,

lol at this probability calc… If you miss the proc at .7 then there is nothing to multiply by after that because the turn is over. Multiplying by another .7 doesn’t make sense.

@@brock5932 You misunderstand. To not be debuffed, the attacked hero has to "win" the rng roll 3 times in a row. Since the attacker has a 30% chance of it landing on each hit, the defender has a 70% chance of it NOT landing on each hit. The defender has to "win" that 70% roll 3 times in a row to escape with no debuff. So that's .7 * .7 * .7 = 0.343. If the defender fails any of those 3 rng rolls, he doesn't escape without a debuff. Thus, he's debuffed at a rate of 65.7%. Is that explanation a little clearer?

another honorable mention is unky chai his actually good people have been sleeping on him cause you who cares about a buff if you get both buff and heal in other support but his not that bad with berenice you literally get alot more shield with unky chai ult then berenice just own opinion

Chang Pu is my healer til now. Already maxed her resonance, ascension, and skills. She's tanky for me yet high damage on her 1st. She's great for me so far.

Bai liuli is great she has passive healing and purification and she has a great basic that causes silence as well as having a similar final ability to Chloe but it can cause sear with when paired with melanie they can easily be petrified and Lauren can straight up revive fallen espers

About using RESIST: I have found a singular great reason to use that instead of HP, SPD or ATK. In spatial tower stage 80, where the final boss is Clara, which is incredibly fast (+160) and buffs AP, causes her team mates (which are all either stunning or freezing) to cast a huge amount of debuffs on you. So, if you are not fast enough, which I assume many will be, then using a strong RESIST lead will help you to either prevent their turn or recover yours so that you can go ham on them too. I personally use Sally, since she has 40% RESIST, but even using 20% (albeit maybe a try more, RNG if the RESIST works) will be great.

Helena is beast with healing I've got Panacea relecs and adamantine relecs on her. She's got shield plus her healing is 80% back to all heroes. Tag her with Chang Pu and your gonna have a rough time taking down my team. I gotta get both healers to 60 both are at lvl 50 now.

Yeah. Fyi some 3 star is better than 5 star at some content. Ye suhua for example, unless you get gabby or gaia ye suhua is a must on your team. Melenie is kronos 10 god, berenice is fafnir queen

dislyte high and low star units are pretty balanced so there are a lot of 4 and 3 stars that can be better than even 5 star units.

3 times 30% would add up to 65,7%. However since I guess multi hits also can roll multiple times against res I would much prefer multi hits in most cases.

They are all really great units that you had mentioned. I do have Tiye, but I will still probably save my Club currency to fully resonance Melanie as well. Tang is definitely nuts with how much his abilities combo off each other. And I have to agree I dislike how it works to get Ye Suhua for ripples and I hope they do something to change it or give the option to exchange other ripple shards for her shards even if its like 5 to 1 each. I'd rather just gather up a ton of like David or Leon shards to trade into Suhua shards. Although I am completely done farming Suhua I think it would be a nice QoL if they add something like that. ik this is old and ytou probably already know the answer but realistically if you just started and only have chang pu you probably won't need her at 6* and by then you will most likely have a better healer/support esper even though she is very good.
