This is a very underrated car. I feel it is the best sub compact sedan that was in the market. With 110 bhp and 250 NM torque paired with a 7 speed DSG is a driver's delight. Sad that its stopped by VW.

Umar Farooq, Ameo diesel costs 44 thousand than Polo diesel and offers 110hp which is 20hp more than Polo diesel(except GT TDI).

I own a diesel DSG taken in 2018 and still in 2024 at 250 NM torque and 110 bhp ( power to weight ratio is what you should look )it still is more powerful and stable car than many 20+ lakh Rs cars of current generation Its so smooth , stable at high speeds and Makhan gear shifts I get around 20-21 kmpl on highways even with me driving at constant 120-140 And in city it’s 12 kmpl Hope to keep this car for forever even if I buy maybe a ev in future ❤

Bro u can also use sony rx0 mark ii camera instead of gopro....it has a big 1inch sensor but size is almost similar and depth of field is also very good.....quality will be much better than gopro....thanks😊....btw excellent vlog as usual

Mine is a mapped tdi dsg. Trust me this is the fastest diesel in its segment and the segment above once you map it. Currently making 115 hp on the wheels and 250nm on the wheels.

So sad that there wont be such a competent gearbox and VW is discontinuing this gearbox post BS6 implementation. Vw is shifting to Torque converters. India does not deserve awesome gearboxes like this, instead crappy AMT's and rubbery CVT'S. Wish VW could have offered more peace of mind to allay those reliability fears during it's existence in terms of more warranty and easy replacement options..

Yes true it's a driver centric car, TOO MUCH FUN TO DRIVE. 7speed dsg is awesome... extraordinary build quality of the car ...Agree...But with lot of negatives 1. Back seat comfort is worst. 2. Ground clearance is not enough for indian roads n speed breakers 3. Steering too hard n heavy for heavy city traffic. 4. Creep function is laggy to start , car takes 2 to 3 sec to move after we remove foot from brake. 5. Noisy AC 6. Noisy engine like tractor 7. Hill hold is not 100% perfect n reliable. 8. No android auto n apple car play , comes with mirror link which is a headache, doesn't work with all phones. 9. Last but not the least high service cost n very expensive spares ...VW..

Well my friend got some problem with his automatic AMEO and got an astounding amount of 65k because there was some problem with engine. And as the car was 3 year old. Company refuse to assist further. VW das theft auto

Well the service center guy told him. His case was like 1 in 50k but i suppose you should consider extending your warranty bro. Anything could happen.

Dsg is bound to fail one or 2 times within warranty. So buy extended warranty. I have vento dsg diesel 2015 highline, first repair at 15k KMS fly wheel got replaced. 2nd repair at 53k KMS fly wheel got replaced. Since the 2nd repair fell outside the 4 year warranty so I had to pay for the fly wheel. Spent about 40k to get it replaced. But dsg is just amazing. I just love that gear box.
