Llo All, I road tested this Arteon Shooting Brake Hybrid this morning. Apart from so beautiful and well built, I was disappointed with petrol engine: didn't push like a real 156hp should ! Does anybody driving this beauty share this feeling ? Wandering if it can tow a trailer of 500kg ? Also what is average consumption of gas on highway for long distance ? Thanks for info .

thanks for watching and your comment! Yes, if I remember correctly (it has been a while), this car wasn't the most dynamic of drives. But had a lot of low end torque because I remember scaring people in town with front wheel tire spin at the traffic lights.

I have a shooting brake ehybrid and the car has enough power, especially to tow a trailer. I would put it in the gte position because then you will never be short of power. The car weighs 1.8 tons, so if you only drive on the combustion engine and you want more from the engine, it will of course have to work hard.

How much fuel range do you get? I know the electric is like 35 mile but what about actual petrol?

Ja, so ist es auch mit den WLTP-Reichweitenschätzungen für Elektroautos... Dieselfahrzeuge mögen zwar altmodisch sein, aber man weiß, dass man sich auf seine Reichweite verlassen kann.
