did you have any problems with the parking brake shoes not adjusting out enough inside the rear rotors?

It's not something we've run into just yet, but we're still decently far off from dialing in the brakes TBH.

The original was actually designed in the 30s but production didn't really start till post war. I hope it's a super beetle and not like a good one but I like where it's going.

How much weight do you think you added?

That's really tough to say since we didn't measure individual components. The car will obviously be heavier overall when all is said and done, but the power and handling characteristics will be WELL worth the extra lbs!
