Brilliant, great simple instructions. Worked for my GolfMk5. I got caught out after replacing battery and key would not work at all. All fixed with the last section of your explanation on synchronising. As you said, expose key, press unlock and wait a few seconds, then physically unlock the door with key. Performance of diesel is very good while the performance of petrol is just average. 3. Diesel Variant has a more refined engine and the noise / vibration levels are better compared to petrol variant. 4. Diesel variant has a better resale value

+sandipan roychowdhury for small scratches you can use scratch removal pens. But for small dents, I suggest you to get it repaired from a nearby workshop... I repaired small dents at a VW Workshop in Chennai and they have done a good job. The charges were also nominal...

+Smith Immanuel it is almost similar to the Polo in every aspects except the design. I personally prefer the design of Polo, so I have chosen it. If you like the Ameo, you can go with it. It is a good car.

+Smith Immanuel no. The back seat is comfortable only for 2 adults. The person sitting in the middle will struggle for leg space as there is a huge hump in the middle of the floor. It is ok for short trips in city. But during long trips the space is very cramped for 3 adults. Both Polo and Ameo are not recommended for seating 5 people comfortably.

+Smith Immanuel For seating 5 comfortably, I highly recommend the Honda WRV. It is the most spacious crossover in its segment. If you like going with Sedan, then Honda City is a good choice... You can also have a look at the Hyundai Creta. WRV, City & Creta are my picks for very good seating comfort.
