Polo is safer and far more comfortable to drive. though I'd rather have a Golf, since Polo tends to have some issues.

To be fair a 77 kW Polo from 2009 would still be able to win a drag race against pretty much any high end car from the 1950s. After ~60mph no way a high end Packard could compete even with a diesel Polo (~30% faster 0-90 mph)

I like how honest the ad is about the car industry's understanding that ultimately it's selling the idea to guys that it's their car they need to get a/the girl. Terrible in so many ways, but honest.
