Hey wassup dude, I've absolutely loved your review regarding the 9n3 gti. I have the same setup (more or less) that you have. Mine however is fully stage 2 and stage 3 ready just need to bolt on a ko4. I can honestly say that if you have a bad day and decide to go for a drive in it, it does make you feel better. Fuel I can say the same if I punch it I get up to 350km on a full tank. Once again man thanks for your video made me feel a lot better about my car.

I live in Adelaide dude and have a Polo GTI 9n3, all stock under the hood. I hope you ended up getting one. I’ve only ever lost a drag at the traffic lights once and that was to a suped up Audi A3. Ridiculously quick and easy to park too

Man I live in Chile. I bought my polo brand new in early 2009.. first week I had to buy one new rim... literaly I fitted the whole car in a crevasse. ... mine is stock except that I unlocked the speed limiter... more than enough for our roads... in terms of comsumption.. 16kms/Lt at 100km/h... no one can do that... city: 7 to 9 km/L... hi-way.. at smiles per gallon speed... below 10kms/L....at most.... I smile at the hi-way and cry at the gas station...I’ll never sell this car...

It’s the ko3s which is on it the ko3 of which you mentioned is on the early mk4 golf gti which can’t make much more than 200bhp where as the re worked ko3s of which is on your car can make up to a peak of 260/263bhp

got a 1.4 PD70 TDI chipped to 100hp and around 200nm thats nippy could only imagine what the GTI is capable of, however i do get 60+ mpg XD

Had an ibiza pd130 mapped to 170hp/400nm tourqe was rapid, now building a 5dr 9n2 1.2 3 cylinder into a 1.8t sleeper

Do it dude! Amazing little cars with phenomenal tuning potential. Ultimately i was running lowering springs on standard shocks so it was quite crashy and felt disjointed...If i had the car again id put some good coilover suspension or use springs again but change the shock absorbers to Bilstein or something. I was a student at the time so didn't have the money for expensive coilovers!

Haha sorry bro, If I'm honest...i haveve not a clue. i was on a car page on Facebook a while back and some guy was doing the carbon fibre trees with car logos in so i just asked for one with "because racecar" and he made me one...This was many years ago unfortunately. Ill try think back for you.

Handling aint ideal, hardly terrible. Put poly every and a strut brace, 1200 on coilovers and you have a porsche killer.

Very reliable indeed! If you think about it the Audi TT came with 225bhp as standard and thats essentially the same 1.8l 20v engine. These engines can run close to 300bhp before needing any serious internal work.

would be fantastic as a first car...However, I can't imagine the insurance will be cheap as it's quite a big engine and turbo charged which for a first car is not what the insurer wants you to drive. Just depends how deep your pockets are. This was my 4th car.

Yes this is an excellent first car, im 20 and this is my first car aswell, i have a silver color polo gti 9n3 and yes its kinda exprnsive but worth the experience, i really dont want another car for the next few years to come and i have the car for 1 year right now
