🚘Where is VW Touran made?
VW has started production of the all-new Touran MPV at its main plant in Wolfsburg, Germany. The first new production VW Touran was an Oryx White vehicle in the Highline equipment level, fitted with the 1.4-liter TSI BlueMotion Technology petrol engine producing 150 PS (148hp).
🚘Is the VW Touran still in production?
The model will remain available for the next year or two but will eventually be retired from the Wolfsburg-based brand's range. With the Tiguan Allspace offering similar cabin space but a more appealing SUV shape, Volkswagen believes there's no need for a new Touran.

Simply a fantastic car. Just amazing. I used to be not such a hugh VW fan, but I changed my mind after driving this car for such a long time. When you drive it properly and long, it just won't age and cause any problems.

I will never understand, why its production is coming to an end in the near future. There is nobody I spoke with and knew this car, who did not highly appreciate functionality, quality and comfort of this car. Even the German AutoBild test crew mentioned it as the testing editorial staff's favourite (der Testredaktions-Liebling). To come out with an overprized and less capable iD Buzz instead is an affront against all young families - and seniors like me as well.
