Virtus is clearly much better value. BTW, VW has tried to make a very practical vehicle that is also performance oriented. Dynamics, Ground clearance everything plays a role. With Merc's design, it gets advantage in aerodynamics and that shows in sports mode when engine gets full power. But which is the car that I would take to the places I go to a lot (mountains, long drives and what not) - definitely Virtus.

DQ200 is not designed to have launch mode as it’s dry clutch transmission. Only card with wet Clutch DSG has got launch mode as the clutch can handle high load and don’t overheat.

Considering the price difference virtus gave a very tough fight. That Mercedes is very aggressively tune shot geared and it uses a big turbo compering to kicks obviously Mercedes should have won by a huge margin but it didn’t. Still 1.5 has better top end.the 1.3 engine problem is it has a stupendous mid range but lacks topend where 1.5 tsi scores
