My IQ light reacts too late when a car appears. This is why i prefer turn it off manually.

What about pedestrians? Will IQ light disable high beam for them to prevent blindness?

Yeah, I was thinking the same too... I guess the system isn't smart enough yet so you have to turn them off manually 🤷‍♀️

They can just turn around their head, there's no law saying you need to turn of high beams for pedestraians.

@@oneonone8855 well in Slovenia in the law it actually says that you must turn off your main beams when a group of pedestrians is approaching you from the opposite direction so I guess this is one case when you have to take manual control of the main beams. But in the future it's possible that AI will detect pedestrians and turn off the main beam automatically.

Any idea when these will be available in North America? I see the hardware is already being installed, but the full functionality is not there.

I don't think the hardware is installed. There's a upgrades module and the lights are different

I live in Canada and have the 2023 Taos highline and it’s got IQ lights, I also see golfs r’s and gti’s with it on the roads.

Very selfish feature. Too much blinding of innocent people for not much benefit. I drive at night with low beams most of the time anyway, is this mostly for elderly/ those with sight issues?
