Guys I have to mention a quick thing about quivers and it is very important. I didn't have attack speed on my quiver but right now I am testing with Attack Speed quivers and have to say this: - Make sure you have Attack Speed on your first weapon set quiver. - It would be insanely good if you can have it on your second quiver too. @@schwarzcronnok102 Sorry, haven't seen your comment. I levelled with ice shot and tornado shot. You can do with lightning arrow. You can switch to this after like 85 i would say but realistically you can play it at any level.

I was so happy after I noticed this build suddenly popping out , and I cant believe the build is the same build that i have.. Ive spent hours before i came up with this build since i have no poe experience or diablo even, i even showed on reddit how the Snipe + Barrage works surprisingly well especially with dualstring bows. Ive never played POE before and Ive watched a lot of videos for builds and i see every ranger build looking like a Lightning Wizard instead of an actual ranger so i tried to push a build with snipe first then strted noticing how spiral volley works so well with crowds so i figured to make use of it. And now the build videos started popping out.. I leaned a bit on attack speed tho since i i dont like how spiral volley performs on really tight areas so i use snipe instead. Attack speed allows snipe to be used like 2-3 times per second.. so yes, tail wind.

This is actually insane, definitely going for it, I always wanted snipe to be good because of how fun is it to wait for the perfect time to snipe the boss, im tired of all these spark and invoker attri stackers builds so boring

So I spent around 6 div to swap to this build and I'm assuming I have to be doing something wrong because going from 1 tapping T18's with LA to doing quite literally zero damage missing my snipe window is ... something. My gear is of course maybe not perfect here but I have just about everything. Trying to run it with Ingenuity + Morior (HP / Spirit / All Res Socket x5) and it's not feeling great. Is it purely the snipe window?

He practically grew up with this build. Others simply rebuild it. Some of them can't cope. They miss the timing for the snipe. I had planned to build one myself. I sold my old armor for it and was left empty-handed. Hardly anything worked. I then modified it like here. I'm level 83 and went into the Sekhema exam. The two boss warriors, they merged. He was Oneshot. I was helped a lot by the fight against the last boss (time boss) afterwards. I lost it, but it gave me enough time to train with it extensively. I've been doing very well since then. You need rhythm and timing for it. This build is not a hack&slay build like most others.

Yes snipe window does make that much difference. I would go around 500k dmg to 10m with snipe window with barrage.

Missing your snipe window = wet noodle. You may as well just tells the boss a joke and hope he laughs to death. Snipe window is a mandatory thing the difference is enormous

I have to questions.: 1. i have 94% evasion and maxed resistances but dying very fast almost 1 hit everything, what can i do 2. what is the fastes way to kill rares, some of them are evading and i cant hit anyhting

You have to use acrobatics, your evasion will be around 80 with acro and it is good. You have to snipers mark and snipe the rares. Get use to snipe timing, needs a bit of practice to pull it out at any time.

Did you activate combat frenzy? Are you using the right supports on volley to pin enemies?

Nice build bro, I especially like the "Lightning Infusion" tech with Voltaic Mark, that's something I missed in my build, since Voltaic Mark is much better than sniper's mark with multiple hits from barrage. Side note that, currently you can use multiple barrage gems and they have separate cooldown. Might be a bug and get fixed later though. But since you are not using the unique helmet which increases the perfect window, and supported "Window Opportunity", it can be easy (at least for me) to miss a barrage buffed hit. Also I personally feel the tailwind branch is too good to drop. About the "Additional Mark", since Sniper's Mark helps very little for damage, especially that I found it's bugged right now, it might not worth an ascendancy slot. (Personally feeling, feel free to ignore).

Yeah I was also experiencing with 2 marks but with Tailwind again. Using them in separate situations. Using Sniper's Mark when I was using Snipe without the Barrage to generate me charges and using Voltaic Mark when I was doing it with Barrage to get more shock magnitude. Tailwind is really too good to drop you are absolutely right. Also thanks for the side notes I am also constantly checking your videos!

It eats up a boots slot tho :D. After 6 link theres not much to put into your volley. It already one shots all so, I'd rather have better boots.

Isn't this like a LOT of attack speed investment which doesn't translate to increased dps, just more QoL for snipe? It's a cool build but it doesn't seem very optimal to invest that much into AS when your main skills don't benefit at all from it, just one of them as QoL.

Where is the attack speed investment for snipe? I've only have attack speed on my quiver for snipe. Maybe you didn't notice we are using weapon swap. AS investment is for Spiral Volley which again QoL but this helps you to clear maps faster since you will be less animation locked.

@@heilyx on the skill tree you invest a bunch of points into falcon technique and the skill speed cluster, that's more than 10 points investment overall, for a slightly faster animation...

@@Quel_droma Falcon technique is way too good to skip for any ranger build and i have only 1 speed jewel :D. Also you can't play with 0 speed, it is impossible to cast it. It is not slightly faster, makes a big difference.

Is the helm unique for snipe window timing not as good?

@@Ahbeoji Definitely not good, it steals your helmet slot which I am getting lots of resists, life, es and evasion. I would say go without it try to feel comfortable without it. Eventually you will be a master sniper! 💯

It is a comfort thing, your character stays in volley animation lesser if you have attack speed. So you can move aroudn faster, clear packs faster, etc.

Just QoL, it makes you less animation locked. Very helpful while clearing breaches etc.

We go ES because we can get 2x evasion of that ES amount in the helm. So helmet gives 301 ES and 602 Evasion. Also it helps with bossing more than you think. Generally you wouldn't get hit for 2-3 hits from the boss, when you get hit the ES plays a huge role on your survivability. It doesn't do much for mapping but definitely helps with bossing.

@@ryakuto4310 Mine has reduced requirements on it, so needs 104 int, I need to have over 107 because of 19 level HoI anyways. But you can get your stats from rings, amulet, boots, quiver etc.

Actually both, having them as extra is good but they are not good as other mods. Haven't fully tested them tho, keep that in mind.

You wouldn't be this strong on map clearing but you would be better on bosses :d. If you ask me you have to have the ring, it is very powerful. Especially while doing breach, HoI just blasts.

Why do you go for attack speed for spiral volley?

It just feels good to have more attack speed, basicaly for smoother gameplay, your character stays inplace for shorter time etc. you still wait between casts for 1.5-2 secs to be able to gain frenzy charges. Ofc if you have enough damage on that, if you don't you should go for more dmg instead of attack speed.

@@heilyx hmm, it doesnt change the 0.4 added time which is fixed and it only reduces total attack time by like 0.08-0.10. each to their own but i dont think its worth a gem slot for something so minimal.

Not much actually, the build is fairly cheap since you don't care about extra projs on your bow. My gear is around 15-20 divs I guess.

I have leech on my first weapon, so while clearing aoe I'am not having any trouble with mana. I don't have any regen on my boss setup tho, I use flasks yeah.

@@KTimmeh If you can find gloves with life and proper resists yeah why not. Mine didn't have life on it so i've replaced it with one with life. Also you might need added phys too, it might be better than an extra 1 charge, you should also add that to the equation too.

Until you have max frenzy charges, cast snipe on sniper's marked target. After you have full charges, just put snipers mark, voltaic mark, barrage, then snipe. You should see big numbers there. Also make sure you are staying close to the target, otherwise all snipes might not hit.

I think at any level you can switch to this. Just make sure your snipe is at least 5 links, you can play it without 6 link snipe. Also switch to this after you buy +30 crit bonus phys bow. They should be around 2-3 divs max. I bought mine for 3 divs. Definitely not a levelling build but in endgame, you can switch at any point.

I wouldn't suggest you to do that, ofc you can but it gets stronger with shock+crit dmg stacking. You should level with lightning build, much easier.

You can use Snipe during the campaign for rare enemies and boss fights pretty much as soon as you get it. It takes some practice to get the timing right so starting early is a good idea. But you will also need a clearing skill and you don't get Spiral Volley until very late. So you will need to level with Lightning Arrow or some other skill for area damage.

@ScienceFictionGuy001 i've tried snipe in campaign but i can't get the timing right in the heat of battle. The timing is tighter than perfect strike and missing the timing is much more punishing since barrage goes into a long ass cooldown. I'll try a little more but if i don't improve i might not go through with it despite loving the gameplay.

@@oliverong3753 if you haven't already try it out with Martial Tempo and/or some extra attack speed. I find the timing is easier to hit with a bit of speed scaling. Also worth noting that Barrage's cooldown gets shorter as you level it up so missing a Barrage becomes less punishing over time. It's definitely worth sticking with it if you can, the Snipes are so satisfying once you have the timing down. But if it doesn't work out I suppose it's better to find out early on.

Make sure to have armor break support and make sure to have high shock magnitude. Also crit damage bonus stat on your bow is really important, also very important to have the same stat on quiver too. Jewels are not that important.
