dont worry! just try your hardest. i tried out my sophomore year, a new school, never played or had interest before. the coach asked me to try out and i was super scared but i played through the season and even joined a club. the seasons currently on pause, but trying out was the best decision ever. good luck girls!

I love volleyball!!! No i didn't learn it from that show y'all are talking abt. I have done it all my life. It's such a beautiful sport lots of people say its not a sport like are you kidding me they say all you do is stand there and hit the ball which is incorrect there is so much work put into volleyball and lots of people take it for granted even me sometimes, lots of my coaches say they miss playing high school volleyball so much, so don't take it for granted! Me and my family have a club of our own actually i cant say the name or location cause obvi but were like a family, corona has made it so hard but luckily we still get to play here and there. i think you should just go for it!!! learning at an older age isn’t too hard if you practice enough and have the mindset for it!! and i suggest setting little goals for yourself as you go, that’d be good for tour mind and also getting better!!!!!

I’m unfortunately in that category where I didn’t find my love for volleyball until last summer. But now I’ve graduated high school and never played competitively. I wanted to join the colleges club volleyball that they offer but didn’t know if it was a good idea? Any thoughts anyone?

Hey Brad! I did the same thing and now I play on my college's club team after training for a semester! The worst thing that can happen is they reject you but don't let that stop you from pursuing things you have a passion in!

I love playing club volleyball. I started when I was 11 and now am in love. I’m a middle hitter and the girls say I’m a great powerhouse. I’m not the most talkative but when I get competitive I play my best. I have qualifiers on Friday this week in Florida and I’ll update y’all if we win or not

I played ball at State back in the early 90’s (yes I’m old 👴) and boy I wish they did a “senior day” for us. All we got the “Don’t forget to clean out your locker” speech. Things have due changes at SJSU. Go Spartans! Cute video!
