Boskovic is playing for this team since 2015-2016 season and she has won this cup in 2016 with this club. The club has won this cup firstly in 2015 without Bosco , then 2016 with Bosco . After that they could not win until now. Therefore Bosco is crying they are free from bad luck now.

What a match from both teams 👏 So happy for Eczacibasi, they deserved to win, especially Boskovic. All of the played phenomenal today, Hande was incredible (deserved to be in the dream team), Jack Kisal was killing with blocks today, Gray’s receiving was really good today and her attacks were fantastic as always, Elif proved today that she’s one of the best setters in the world right now and Tijana proved she’s goat once again. This truly was a final for the ages, after the final of last season’s Champions League, Eczacibasi snatched the trophy from their eternal rivals of VakifBank. Insanely happy for Boskovic that was finally able to lift the trophy after a long time of being the eternal second or third with Eczacibasi, MVP title was totally deserved. I would’ve made different choices for the single trophies, for example Jack-Kisal instead of Stevanovic and Ogbogu instead of Gunes, and also Baladin TOTALLY deserved the best OH title after today’s insane performance. Overall incredible match and great performances from the most part of the players. Also props to Thompson for being the top scorer delivering an amazing total of 33 points, proving to everyone (me included) that she actually got what it takes to be considered one of the best opposites in the world right now.

Boscovic has consistently played at the highest level for 8 consecutive years. No other player has done it. All teams adjust their game to stop her. The issue is what the other players in the team will do and basically the quality in reception. Yes, Vargas, Egonu, Haak, Karakurt are are very good players ...but Bosco is something else with her personality

Surely right. BOSS is playing for this club since she is 18 yo. Her personality is an example of high perfection. She called Simge to hold up the cup together. Although Simge was mutual captain with BOSS was very shy about holding up the cup in ceremony. We can see that BOSS is loved by her team friends. Also all Turkish supporters love BOSS.. As if she is married with this team , the money is nothing for her.

Üsküdar'ımın takımı olması hasebiyle Vakıfbank taraftarıyım ama Eczacıbaşı bir fırtınaydı özellikle son karar setinde. Müthiş maç, müthiş final. Tebrik ediyorum. Geçen ayki CEV finalinde biz almıştık, bir büyüğünü bu sefer onlar aldı. 100. Yılımızda Avrupa ve Dünya Şampiyonası finallerinde iki Türk takımının olması da ayrı bir gurur. Eczacı'nın 3. Never seen Boskovic getting so emotional while playing a final with her club team. I'm so happy for her, she deserved it. The two OHs helped her in scoring, finally. It was not Gabi's day, unfortunately, but she carried the team so many times. Thompson was good but she can't do it all alone. I will not underestimate Vakifbank, they perform better along with the season and could peak at the end...

Good players come and go, at one point it was Haak, Egonu, even Karakurt, and now Vargas, but the only one being at the top for years has been The Boss.

I love Boss, she is a superstar. But Boss has been playing in Eczacıbaşı and her national team for years. She is lucky. She is in the arena of the giants, so we get to see her talent. But Haak‘s national team is weak, she has no apperance on National level. Given the chance, she would do well, too. Egonu is superb, too. But she is not as consistent as Bosco or Haak. Karakurt is a very talented athlete, I love her just the way she is. But she is not Vargas, Egonu, Haak, Bosco level yet. She is on the way though. She does magic in Russian League, scores 28-30 points plus aces each match. VARGAS is just getting started. She was banned for 4 years, and waited 3 years to play in Turkish national team. So Bosco got all the success in the absence of her. Once she came in 2023, Vargas collected all the medals, cups, and MVPs. Therefore Vargas is more talented than Bosco. If she recovers, she will prove that once again in Olympics and other tournaments to come.

These are from 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022 and in the ABSENCE of VARGAS. On the other hand, Vargas won 2 golds only in 1 year 🧿 and these were in the tournaments that Bosco also participated. So, you are comparing Boscos’ 10 years of national career with Vargas’ 1 year. Don’t you think it’s weird and unfair? That shows you are in denial 😂. Besides Vargas is 2 years younger than Bosco. If you really want to compare these two, you should consider the tournaments that they’ve BOTH participated. There are only 2 tournaments as such. 2023 VNL and 2023 European Championships, Vargas was superior to Bosco in both of them. The medals Bosco won in the absence of Vargas are IRRELEVANT in this ONE ON ONE comparison. According to your logic, Gabi is better than Bosco, because she has more medals. Then poor Haak is no one to you, as she has zero medal on national level 😉. What I’m saying is; when you compare 2 people/team/thing etc., you have to compare them under “equal and same” standards. Otherwise it’s nonsense. But writing nonsense is free. So be my guest 😂!
