You have a poor memory or you didn't see the game. On the sides TBB played against the arms of the wall doing almost always point and not only with Li Y.Y. . Li Y.Y. is a very good player but in TBB there are also others who played well. TBB lacked some continuity and struggled to counterattack. Conegliano defended better (Gabi) and Wolosz is a great setter.

Haak being the scoring machine, Zhu Ting being efficient as OH, Fahr acting as the great wall and quicker , Gabi could be a great libero outstanding all around performance, DGenaro as always digs everything, Wolozch being the chess master. No way, I think Gabi is too good to be only a libero. She's an allrounder, she doesn't have to be best scorer (although it's welcomed), her skills in defense/digging and reception plus possibly the quickest arm in the world while spiking make her a perfect OH 😀Apart from that she's a true leader, never gives up and it is simply not possible to take her off the court even when she's struggling sometimes because one never knows the moment when she fires up again 🙃. Her presence gives the team the wings and the power to continue to fight.

@ Agreed but if you understood well the statement about Gabi it meant she is great in digging and receiving apart from being an outstanding all around player, a compliment on her libero skills, just like Cook. Though she is not that tall, she has a commanding presence and we can both agree how she is great and arguably the face of current Brazilian Volleyball and one of the best in the world. Cheers 🍻

Chirichella wasn't treated badly by the national team, she has been part of it for more than 10 years, this year they simply selected the most valuable middle blockers of the past season to compete at the Olympics. Nothing personal, she is good but Fahr, Danesi and Lubian were better at that time

Credits to Santarelli for assembling this team. He basically recruited some of the best players that caused his defeats and headaches in the past years, mostly from Vakifbank. Zhu, Haak and Gabi. Vakifbank really wanted Zhu back, Milano was also trying to recruit Zhu Ting but Zhu chose Conegliano and rightfully so.

Well, the VB disposed of Zhu Ting because of the hand injury and they did not believe in her, just as they disposed of Haak, Egonu, Gabi. I think it's probably a budget problem. Otherwise, I see it hard for VB to return to the top.

Vakifbank wanted to renew Zhu Ting in 2019-2020 season but China's national team led then by Lang Ping wanted Zhu Ting to be in China and join a local club in preparation of the Tokyo Olympic Games. Zhu Ting's wrist injury started in 2017 and manifested really hard during the Tokyo 2020 games. She was with Vakifbank from 2016-2019. As for Haak, I believe Vakifbank and Imoco went to an exchange agreement. Haak went to Imoco and Egonu went to Vakifbank. Vakifbank won the Champions league that year and Imoco won the Club World championship.

@@maurizioberlanda100Vakıf belongs to Turkish National Bank. It has endless budget 😂. Gabi betrayed Vakıf, she made the deal with Conegliano secretly mid season. Gui implied his disappointment in Gabi in an interview. Haak left because she wanted to live in Italy for her bf who plays in an Italian Club. But I don’t know why Egonu left. Some said she had problems with the management, some said she was not compatible with the setter.

@@yelizk8667 As for Egonu, Dalderoop and Bajema were dumped by Vakifbank around the time of the tragic earthquake. The Turkish state had obligated the bank to provide the funds, and perhaps as a mark of respect to the people they reduced the budget. It may be that there were other problems with Egonu, I don't think between her and Cansu, however, at the end of the championship they offered her half of the previous year's engagement so how to say they didn't want to keep her. Gabi left probably because she had strange feelings from the management and, for an athlete in her 30s the rest of her career is important.

Zhu Ting isn't a big approach attacker/player. She just needs two "small" steps to attack. Sometimes commentators call it, no approach attack. The secret though to her powerful spikes in her prime was her quick/fast snap of her wrist. You can clearly see that it's coming back. Her aggressiveness and confidence are almost back as well. Kudos Conegliano for bringing back top form Zhu Ting 😏

After beating Milano in the group, I thought this would have been a more hard-fought match, but eventually no way you can compete against Conegliano. 😂 Btw, this ends a terrific season for Italian female volleyball, with victories in all 3 main European cups (Novara and Chieri in Cev and Challenge cups and Conegliano in Champions League and now World championship) plus the successes of VNL and gold medal at Olympic Games in Paris this summer. Что случилось с командами во втором сете - остаётся гадать: или волейболистки из Китая не выдержали такого темпа игры и задохнулись, то ли поняли тщетность своих попыток, но не выйти из пятнадцати - это явный провал. А дальше команды доигрывали - поезд Конельяно уже было не остановить, хотя 20 очков говорят о какой-то борьбе, но это было скорее дань от Бохая своим болельщикам, пришедших поддержать свою команду. Белла Хаак была неудержима, хотя можно было рассчитывать на блок не обиженных ростом китаянок. Процент успешных атак от шведки кажется зашкаливал. Конельяно поздравляем со званием чемпионок мира среди клубных команд, а команду Бохай и Ирину Фетисову с успешным турниром.

Conegliano with Isabel Haak and Gabi are still at an unattainable height. Bohai gave a fight in the first set, both teams showed excellent volleyball, working miracles in defense. What happened to the teams in the second set - we can only guess: either the volleyball players from China could not withstand such a pace of play and suffocated, or they realized the futility of their attempts, but not getting out of fifteen is an obvious failure. And then the teams played out - the Conegliano train was already unstoppable, although 20 points indicate some kind of struggle, but this was rather a tribute from Bohai to their fans who came to support their team. Bella Haak was unstoppable, although one could count on a block from the Chinese, who are not offended by their height. The percentage of successful attacks from the Swede seemed to be off the charts. Conegliano congratulations on the title of world champions among club teams, and the Bohai team and Irina Fetisova on a successful tournament.

Бохай имеет 2 главных недостатка чтобы играть на равных с такими командами как Конельяно. 1) Нет ни одного игрока с силовой подачей. 2-3 таких игроков нужны не столько для эйсов - они часто случайны, а в первую очередь чтобы ломать у соперника организацию командной и быстрой игры в атаке. В этом плане Конельяно чувствовал себя очень комфортно, в то время как он сам практически убил у Бохая атаки первого темпа. 2) Нет нормального диагонального игрока, эффективно забивающего как на 1 линии, так и сзади со второй. На этой позиции у Бохая сейчас играют не стабильные и не высокие (ниже Ин Лин более 10 см) запасные доигровщики.

The commentator could not tell the difference between Chen Bo Ya and Liu Mei Jun almost the whole of the 3rd set, where Chen didn’t play at all but he kept referring to Liu as Chen! Also, he mistook the whole horde of Zhu Ting fans in yellow and waving “ZHU” flags and banners as Panthers fans lol. Tianjin should have imported Arina. That would be an even better match to watch!

I think LYY still has difficulty hitting on the block. But Zhu Ting will slowly return to jumping like before. Zhu can easily hit on the block. If that happens, it will be very dangerous for the opponent. Because Imocco will have 2 key players who can be Differentiation in important points. Zhu and Haak.

TBB lacked continuity and at times I could not rebuild a decent offense. TBB defended very well (which I think is good news for the Chinese national team as well) but was not cynical enough.

Queste donne sono eccezionali! La partita l'hanno vinta di testa con quel primo set in cui hanno demolito ogni certezza delle cinesi. Una cattiveria agonistica pazzesca, tutto il primo set sotto a rincorrere le cinesi che difendevano tutto, battevano bene, contrattaccavano e rendevano difficile il cambio palla. Qualunque altra squadra sarebbe stata messa sotto. Loro no. Ad un certo punto si sono guardate e ognuna ha innalzato il proprio livello e le cinesi non hanno capito più nulla! Squadra impressionante! A parte ciò...capisco la politica ed il premiare tutti ma come si fa a non dare il premio a De Gennaro? Non è la prima volta che accade... Sono anni che vince, fa difese, ricezioni , recuperi pazzeschi, fa pure punti e puntualmente ad ogni finale vinta premiano un'altra! Poi non ho capito perché non hanno fatto il podio con le tre squadre prime classificate. Boh...

@@sinusiridum551 La Haak ha mostrato dei bei limiti. Spero per lei possa avere Wolosz a fianco (o una palleggiatrice brava uguale) perché se non ha la palla perfetta diventa inefficace. Poi se effettivamente è stata la migliore opposta vuol solo dire che le altre hanno fatto peggio. Però l'aiuto della squadra semplifica moltissimo.

Una selezione tra le prime di questi campionati renderebbe il torneo più competitivo. Per dare la possibilità anche a squadre minori di giocare si potrebbe fare un torneo minore, sulla falsa riga di quelli della Cev (Cup, Challenge Cup, o Golden e Silver per le nazionali)

Almost unplayable if they will not have a drop of level during the season they're gonna win everything. Like many said probably the only team who can beat them is Fenerbache once Arina will come back, they have for sure worse defence and reception but their power at the service line could break conegliano reception system

Cara espero que o Brasil voltar a ter um bom nível de times no feminino igual o nosso masculino para ver jogos assim em finais de mundial (apesar que a maioria e dessas jogadoras são de outras seleções ou seja é muito difícil criar só com brasileiras) mais dá e como dá para chegar nesses nivel, e só nos não perdemos as esperanças e pararmos de pensar que nosso talento vai sempre ganhar de investimento e foco igual os europeus, ta na hora de nois brasileiros começar a investir e focar total na melhora do nossos times e campeonatos, seja na elite, serie B ou C, mais é claro sem perde nosso estilo Brasileiro, depois de dizer isso tudo parabens imoco e tiajin e parabéns a gabi por mais um titulo mundial em um grande time 🇧🇷👍🏼🇮🇹🇨🇳
