Canada is not getting bombed. The conservatives have been fighting for Canadians for years. I never voted for Trudeau and his liberal party. The reason countries are concerned by what’s happening in Ukraine is because Putin is one bad period away from world war. I am a Ukrainian immigrant in Canada, I was at the trucker protest with my Canadian flag and Ukrainian flag. Standing for our freedoms. Trudeau has more in common with Putin and his approach rather than Volodimir Zeliski.

Zelensky made it very clear when he proclaimed loudly and proudly to the world that he would be arming ANYONE willing to stand against Russia. Many photos and videos were shared around the world of middle aged and older women learning to use automatic weapons and making molotov cocktails. Why would the Russians NOT target the civilians that have sworn to bear arms against them by any means possible. Zelensky made it clear since before the first Russian troops crossed the border that civilians would be a real and viable risk to them in this operation. No, I am NOT defending Putin, just reminding people of perhaps why the Russians would think they were justified in targeting civilians that may or may not be a threat to them. Look at the photos, real or propaganda, this is the message that Zelensky wanted delivered to Putin and the Russian forces. And then there is the very real FACT that there was clearly a choice by some level of leadership to entrench troops inside cities, barricading them, blowing up bridges and turning them into 'fortresses'. Of course the Russian troops will engage them in the cities, because that's where they have created strongholds to defend. Zelensky has CHOSEN, very publicly to involve civilians in combat in this war, if they are being used as targets by Putin and Russian forces, they are in that position because their president, the man the west is holding up as a hero, has put them firmly on the front lines as targets.
