Великолепно! Как это здорово, что искусство народного танца так прочно пустило свои корни в СССР, здравствует и процветает !

Hi Anton. two questions: how much cost a ticket for the entire Loktev Ensemble show? and we will have "everybody dance" this year? Thanks!
@AntonGloba3 жыл бұрын
Good afternoon. Since the state fully finances the ensemble, many concerts are generally free, especially if they are held on the ensemble's home stage in the Palace of Pioneers, which is called "Vorobyovy Gory". If the concert halls are large, which have city or even federal significance, then of course you have to sell tickets to cover the rent of the hall. Usually tickets cost about 10-20 if you count in US dollars. In the Kremlin Palace, prices went up to $ 100, but this was the maximum in my memory. ))) But most of the tickets did not exceed $ 20-30. The main task of the ensemble is to bring culture to the people, not to make money. )))

"Everybody dance" this year, unfortunately, will not. Due to the covid, they were limited to the official part on stage and with a very limited number of spectators.

By the way, this dance is not danced by the Loktev Ensemble. )))))))))))))

@@AntonGloba Thanks for detail answers. With "everybody dance" I mean when graduate students of different years joins with the current students and dance together casually. I hope to visit Russia soon, post covid. Thanks again for all the videos.

Yes, I understand what you mean by "everyone is dancing!" ))) This happens just at the prom, in the month of October. I call this the unofficial part of the prom. But, this year it was only official.

Traditional dances are better modern ones that show too much flesh.

Ladies that look and act like ladies? Men that actually look like men? Would never be allowed in my country I'm afraid. Please come to Britain and show us what we've lost! P.S. REAL ladies like these don't find it necessary to show their underwear, but what happened to the red boots???? I thought Russian lady dancers always wore red boots????

@@AntonGloba Thank you for your personal reply. . These are LOVELY people: you do more good for the world than 1,000 politicians. Please tell our leaders we MUST be friends: it would be unimaginable that we should ever go to war. P.S. When I was a little boy we were told "How do you recognize a Russian?" Answer: "You can always tell if someone is Russian: they ALWAYS have snow on their boots!".
