My dad had one of those when he married mom in 59, but his was a convertible. He loved to talk about it. It was a 4 barrel 347. He said he out ran a 58 Impala with tri-power that was supposed to be the fastest thing around our area at that time. Nice car.

I would take that over the 57 Chevy. Just love all that chrome. Miss all that chrome. You're lucky to see any chrome now a days unless you order a chrome package and even then there is no were as much chrome. Love this car Jay.

I love all the B-bodied 50's GM rides. The Olds are my favorite but I'd definitely take this Pontiac as is. It's perfect.

I have never seen a Pontiac Star Chief until now. This unit is beautiful! I would much rather own this vehicle over a '57 Chev. The rarity of this vehicle makes it desirable (to me). I hope I have a lucky lottery ticket 😁

Actually, I would take either! But this Pontiac is an Absolute Beauty. The only things missing on this 1950's Classic are Power Windows and A/C. This Vehicle is Stunning!!

Thank you, Jay; very charming car; the big difference between the 57 Chevy Bel Air and Pontiac Star Chief is the weight; Chevy is 2364 while Pontiac 3624 Lb.

Rode in those as a kid and I am 57. My uncle owned 2 of those as well as a 1955 Ford Fairlane and a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air. Not at the same time though!

I love this car but I would sooner have a 57 Bel Air purely from a practical point of view. Rip a seat or ding a fender and some chrome (accidents do happen and I'll be driving the wheels off whatever classic I buy) and there are many more parts available for the tri-five chevy's than anything else in this era. Maybe not easy for some parts, but easier than the more rare GM sibling cars. An absolutely stunning find though, and if it had the 3 piece rear window that the Buicks and Oldsmobiles had, I might be swayed to change my tune. Cheers!

PS My late uncle had a pontiac bonneville back in the days, i Was about 8 or 10 when i Was drivning around with My uncle, i AM born in 1952, so i remember All these wonderfull cars always USA motors design just great ✌️ ✌️
