I'm brand new to this and have only built two or three patches by watching videos for begineers. After building this patch with you I sat there and really studied the CV path. By using the vol. control on the Attenuverter and the Mixer I isolated ea path at the various splits and studied ea. indavidual path chanign values on the moduals that ea took. I began to get an understanding for what was going on. Began being the key word in that statement. However, I feel like I can understand this with more time. Thanks for the vid guys and keep them coming.

Thanks for the video! Source of new ideas. Tutorials about requencers would be great, IMHO, linking seqs...

Glad it was inspiring! And we'll have a pretty cool tutorial coming soon about sequencing your sequencers!

yes ,sample and hold is really a great module ,i remember using it in a lot in different modular synths over the time , i use it now in a moog subphatty and of course the cherry audio voltage modular. so many songs have been created using this device . thanks for the video

Am enjoying these tutorials (especially got a lot out of using VM as VST effect). An unfortunate side-effect of VM's excellent interface (and modular synthesis in general) is that one can easily get lost in the mass of wires etc. It would be nice to have module groupings that one can show/hide. When I was learning about VM I had to deconstruct a patch using UML (specifically PlantUML - a script-based UML modelling tool - basically a picture of boxes and arrows). I'd enjoy tutorials that use a 'toolbox' approach, e.g. if you want this kind of sound, then you can use these techniques etc. But as others have said, a tutorial on the Sequencer would be great. Putting it to interesting uses, rather than just how to use it (as it's quite intuitive). I deconstructed the 'Cinema Arp 1' patch to work out what was going on (with the assistance of using PlantUML) and found all kinds of tricker with Seq, Arp, Clock Divider etc). Happy patching everyone!

Glad you're enjoying them! Modular is a very deep (and very fun!) rabbit hole! For patching grouping and notation, we can certainly note that down for consideration in a future update! We'll also have some new tutorials soon about sequencers and some other modules beyond those included with Nucleus that you'll probably find pretty interesting!

Ah ah, yes, deconstructing patches can be enlightening. Maybe a UML profile for modular can be a thing!

Very nice tutorials - but (necessarily) pretty pacy - have you considered making these patches available for download as a series - so we can follow and learn more easily?

We may be able to set that up for future videos!

I'll be honest, I'm struggling. I'm trying to learn the basics of programming with Arturia Pigments and apply my learning elsewhere
