In this tutorial I am going to explain how many types of voltage regulators are available in the field of electronics, and you will also learn the working of these voltage regulator. After watching this video tutorial you can easily use all type of voltage regulators in your project.
There are two types of voltage regulators are used
1. Fixed Voltage regulator
2. Variable Voltage regulator
In the section of fixed voltage regulator we use a voltage regulator for a specific output voltage, for example
7805 IC is used for 5 volt
7812 IC is used for 12 volt
in this video I am going to show you how to convert 12 volt into 5 volt or 12 volt into 3.7 volt, by watching this video you can easily convert any dc voltage to your desired voltage, like if you want to charge Li Ion battery or you want to charge lead acid battery, this tutorial will be very helpful for you
In general we represent 78xx, where xx is the output voltage

I want to know whether is it safe to use any power adapter to any electronic device if the output voltage of the power adapter matches the operating voltage of the device but what if the output ampere of the power adapter is high? I am asking this because I have noticed that we can use any rechargeable AA battery of higher amphere to any electronic device like camera or CD player but can we do the same with a power adapter?
