Wow, amazing finds today my friends ❤. I would have rushed home, unload everything, then go back for more. You need to get a truck to haul all those things lol 😆😂. I love those paper plates. Teachers could really use the letter boards. They are great for teaching young children. Last year in our semi-greater area, Food is Free, Giving Tables, Blessing Boxes, Sharing Pantries, were going up so fast that it was important to check back often so often too.

Cherlynn, your local Rescue Mission, Homeless Shelter or Battered Women's shelter would LOVE a donation of items like you have mentioned. They make hygiene kits for the homeless with them. Other great items are new socks, disposable razors and new or gently used water bottles and travel mugs.

Most of ours, in our area (despite the name and written rules) will take cleaning and hygine products as long as they are placed so they don't damage food nor become ruined in the elements. The intent of these tables and food shelter is that people drop of what they can,, take what they need, and leave something for others. Tsbkes in our area have caught the attention of the county Delartment Of Health in at least 4 counties (in each it has been the result of a citizen complaint) with each handling it per their County rules. Many are responsible to ensure no perishables, home kitchen made, and no past dated product is on their tables so have either demanded products be left on the porch or have disbanded thier table, Blessing Box, pantry shelter, etc... Homeless or just plain needy, hygine and cleaning products don't last long. In our area, I dint think there are many neighborhoods withiut homeless in or around them; not all are as visible as others.

Thank you Cherlynn sorry for the late reply. We sometimes leave those items at the blessing boxes but they are getting more strict with what is being left. We found a place that helps homeless and we have been giving them a lot. I guess it depends on where your at. I liked the blessing boxes because it was going directly to someone who needed it including many homeless. We also started donating to PATH they help out a lot with homeless. epath.org/

Hi, you guys are great and we wish it was aloud around here to dive and I even go to church sales and grab napkins and paper plates and table cloths and I use them because you can't afford to buy the stuff and it really helps people who are at and below poverty level.

We haven't done much for shopping and aisle walking since COVID-19 but, before then you cojld see a lot of Dollar Tree items being sold as the low-end or house brand items at box stores, grocery stores, amd elsewhere. Of course at a higher price than a $1.

I was just curious why you charged for stuff that you get in a dumpster in a dumpster all of the other people that I follow I've never seen that before everything is donated or given away for free. It doesn't seem right to find stuff in a dumpster and then charge people for it especially when it's used and came out of the trash.

Wow that's awesome this has to be one of your best Dives ever that's a lot of stuff like the old saying goes you'd be amazed what people throw away right now I'm changing the decor in my home and I'm going with a farmhouse theme so basically I'm trying to collect anything and everything that I find that is Farmhouse related and looks nice that sunflower bag that you picked out reminded me of that that's kind of the same I'm going for can't wait for part two of the video it should be awesome I live in a small town so my Dives aren't near as good as yours LOL I'm so jealous👍👍

Thank you & part 2 is coming out today. We love farmhouse decor! What I did also was paint some stuff that wasn't necessarily Farmhouse theme to look like galvanized metal it came out really good. One thing was this colorful metal clock. Originally it was multicolored but after it looked like some farmhouse decor. Thanks for watching.

If you're still getting Mandrins or Satsumas, this video shows how to water bath the but also how to select them for canning. Back in the day, it was easier to find citrus canned in water as opposed to a simple syrup. The whole Mandrins canned in just water were expensive and considered "better"; I dint know if they did more careful fruit selection. Grapefruit sections canned in water cost more back then too. The Texas pinks were as sweet as candy despite no sugar; I seem to remember the skin from around each section was removed but the mashed skin along thier backs was not. Sweetness on the white grapefruit depended upon price paid; I seem to remember the skin around the sections were sometimes removed, sometimes not. - My mother tried to buy at ,3sdt ine can of each per year fkr sharing. As time went in the water canned were harder to find and increasingly expensive; often found in the speciality food section of a big, more upper end department store down town. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHXWnaaAebloeqc

I still don’t understand why these stores don’t put the unsold old stock into a pallet box and sell it on those liquidation sites…I worked for a big retail clothing store about 15 years ago that did that….we never threw out any merchandise…anything that was returned damaged was sent back to the company so our store got credit back for the items and all clearance was marked to $0 and thrown into a huge box and shipped out to the liquidation auctions to sell…I had no idea that stores threw out the amount of stuff they do because I hadn’t witnessed the waste before…until I stumbled across a video on KZbin and thought bs…I gotta check this out and damn! Lol…I could open a small retail store with the amount of stuff I find that’s new let alone the stuff I find that’s been opened or even stuff people throw away…I guess I’ve just never been that wasteful and careless with my money to waste my time and money in things I’m not gonna use and just throw away…
