The Cullinan was cut by Asschers into 9 faceted stones and 97 smaller faceted stones and odd finished fragments. The largest Cullinan I is set in the top of the Royal Scepter and II is set in the front of the English Crown. III and IV are made into a brooch, bought by King Edward for Queen Mary. Elizabeth II wears it often to State occasions.

Can talk also about dumbness of Mughals for the king sitting on Peacock throne of gold with lots of studded diamonds,. Secondly Kohinoor was the eye of peacock and the other eye was Daria- i-Noor which is in Iran, since they stole it. That should also been in the list.

One of the wealthiest men in England, he spent his time gambling and living large. He died with debts. The jewels became property of the crown, As the jewels were used for collateral

So many beautiful gems. Of course, nature produced these stunning stones, but it was human hands that cut the gems to bring out their true beauty. I can't imagine the pressure on the shoulders of whoever got the job of cutting a diamond like the Cullinan... I'd probably end up shattering the thing, whilst unfortunately shitting myself at the same time! Fascinating clip, thanks for posting!
