in the late 1980s, i owned that car!!! a 1960 Plymouth Fury!! (but it did not have the "birdbath" on the trunk)

For the 1957 top Plymouth, the Chrysler ad people announced, "Suddenly it's 1960!" For the 1960 Fury, reviewers announced, "Suddenly it's 1950!"
