Voltron Abridged Preview

This project isn't dead, I swear. May has just been a busy month for everyone and there had to be time for everyone to adjust.
Can't put a date for when the release will be, since the first episode is a pretty long one, but hey. It'll come out. Likely end of May or start of June.
Entire series is intended to poke fun at the series, so don't take anything seriously!

Also, when you say pretty long first episode that makes me a little nervous. You mean 10 minutes or less for the first part right? There is nothing wrong with breaking it up, in fact I will tell you that yt bots are very harsh on you if you go over 10 minutes regardless of how you mess with the clips themselves. Literally anything longer than 7 seconds will get you blocked worldwide PER clip/scene unless you cut at just the right places. ^^ just something friendly to pass on as a fellow abridger of this series!

The full video is around 15 minutes long, possibly 16 despite all the cuts that were made since it's an hour long. Though what I personally did was get edit the video prior to making the script, deciding what parts would be in it that'll get the basic skeleton of the episode. Then I had rearranged the clips all over the place, getting some clips from other episodes and masking them in/adding coloring/flipping etc while figuring out jokes and junk. Then I edited kinda like a subtitle copy and tested it out and posted it on my other youtube and when that went past copyright I sent it out to the VAs to dub and whatnot... it's hard to really describe well in a comment , sorry! It's kinda easier to describe with visuals. Though I was still considering splitting it in two just cuz - it'll make sure content is going out in a steady pace. Also thank you for the friendly pass,

No you're welcome! I'm sorry XD I just know I had some major issues since I'm kinda new to this whole abridging thing and I tend to kinda stick to it in an episode by episode manner XD What you're doing sounds really advanced and I'm like "dang, dog, I'm slammed in that case XD my thing is silly and totally ametuerish", but :D I am looking forward to yours when it comes out and that's awesome you condensed 68 minutes into 15. PROPS man, my own is a 3 parter of about 10 minutes per episode XD I tend to do a parody more esque vibe but I would love your feedback on my own part 1! I really hope mine can be as amusing as yours one day!

Don't even apologize! you're good. Yeah;; I've kinda been editing amvs since like... 2010 or so, and i even had some voltron amvs that were blocked because of copyright originally so I've kinda learned. I'm super new to this abridged thing too! This is my first one so I'm ahhh, but I've been set on doing something like this for quite some time now. While I'm familiar with editing, an abridged is way different from an amv so I'm still learning myself. All abridges are silly and all are great! It took forever to do, and a bunch of parts were taken out and are just going to be used as flashbacks. I can totally do that yeah! I could even show you how I'm doing mine also though youtube is kinda a sucky way to explain it, unless you had another social media.
