This person didn't trick himself, he got tricked. Just because you don't understand why they're speaking and acting this way, doesn't necessarily make them dumb. (BTW pretty sure "level perk" was referring to a passive talent, and/or talent levels) I know some players who are new, who don't care about the combat. They never bother to learn about elemental immunity or reactions. They run around with a single character all the time because that's their favorite character. They don't bother to get artifacts or enhance weapons. The fact this person thought that Xinyan actually ascended or "grew up" to be Dehya goes to show they're not only a new player but probably very young, and naive about gaming. They haven't played enough games to realize what to expect from games, and that something like that is unlikely.

Coordinated attack (Baal, albedo, and Dehya) only works if enemy take damage, so if same element deal 0 dmg, no coordinate attack, unless phys mona And yes sadly, like many claymore have no AA gun down those birds

New players are not good at recognising character design and observing perticular stuff as they are lot of stuff to intake , when he mentioned dehya as xiyan that is clear red flag and u should have explained. Ofcourse they feel betrayed. But how people react in that situation is different, often people forgive if calm and say they were confused, or just realised, but they are burnt all resources after farming and it was not the same char and might seen video that xn is bad that is just worse experience.
