A shield scales in 2 ways. 1. The normal talent level way 2. The defense of the active character. The less defense a character has, the more damage they take. The more health is depleted from a shield. Since your Chiori is low level, she has low defense, she takes a lot damage. Therefore the shield takes more damage than normal. This is also the reason why neolle’s shield feels indestructible on herself but like wet toilet paper on other characters.

As for around 8:00 the shield popped easily because no matter who puts the shield on the shield will take more or less dmg based on who is actively on the field. So because Chiori was weak there the shield had to protect her more.

When you are wondering why you are still getting knocked back at the spiral abyss is because Gorou gives resistances to interruption so some attacks can still knock you back but idk how about Albedo cause I don't have him so idk what he can do

Albedo also doesn't have resistance interruption. Maybe because both Albedo and Chiyori are not made to be on field (Itto has resistance, Noelle has shield, Ning has screen)

The characters with Geo constructs are the Traveler, all the 5-star dudes, and Ningguang. Itto is the only one with a pushable construct; that’s why Ushi doesn’t instantly die. Chiori should have had been accompanied by a new 4-star Geo with (movable) constructs.

Shields are only as good as your on field character resistance. So that's why you still got one shoted with a shield, because you took so much damage (high level difference + no defense), that it destroyed the shield and chiori's health almost immediately. Edit : You have no idea what a monster of a yun jin piece you just rolled.

Im having troubles w choosing between Chiroi and Arlecchino rn (yes. I am guranteed). Honestly, ive watched a bunch of reviews about Chiori and i think shes pretty cool and good and I have sum artifacts ready or her but Arlecchino really is tempting me (its sucks being a f2p). I'm *almost* in the same position lol. guarantee, and like maybe 10-20 pulls away. I KNOW I want arlechinno, and have already been prepping my overload team for them, but I also want chiori for navia, but the c1 thing is awful. my only saving grace is that I have so much unfinished content I may be able to guarantee arlechinno anyways. she's cool though, and that quick swap is the most interesting thing in her kit to me, so that's the biggest temptation, b/c there's nothing like it in genshin. it's xianyun all over again, but I lost that 50/50, so I'll get her on rerun. then it's all in on natlan characters~ actually, I'm gonna go play genshin and see how many pulls I can count to see what my chances are lol, assuming the worst on arlechinno's banner. good luck to you on your pulls. my most important advice is don't stress yourself out about it. if it's easier for you to skip her for now, then skip so you can have a more chill time enjoying Father. the worst part of gacha is the impression of fomo, but if the game is stressing you it's not worth playing.

she is okay. don't really like the place style...Zajef77 basically summed up all the problem i faced with using chiori c0. I lost all the 50 50s on her and the weapon but i did get the weapon. cooldown so long and hoyo made her c6 decrease the skill cooldown -_- also this patch my c2 itto r0 is now c6 r2 itto. i lost 3 more 50 50s on 3/4 constellations for itto. this patch lost total of six 50 50s i am so pissed. my old team albedo c0 with his event weapon, itto c2 but now c6 r2, zhongli c2 with r1 signature(im aware VV is shyt but i like the look of spear which also costed me 30k premos to get), and c6 gorou.

@@y0shii154 yes...? It is. You're doing 2x an outdated characters damage while being forced to run a specific team set up. That is bad. Cope. Seriously, Albedo's numbers aren't even that high. Chiori is bad. Not terrible but bad. You can make any character in this game hit huge numbers. Remember running an Amber doing 100k+ damage but I could have spent half my time and resources on Hu Tao and did those numbers or even more. She's forced to run double to mono geo. Which is bad. Geo is currently the worst element right now. I love her design and he playstyle is fun but I'm not stupid enough to assume she's good
