One of the most important aspects to sounding really good on steel. This is such a wonderful and detailed lesson. Hopefully all the older players who have told me I use my pedal too much watches this. Granted I’m no Paul, but too many guys barely move their volume pedal. Anyone who is striving to master the pedal steel owes it to themselves to sign up for the method.

Thanks to Paul Frankin and Lloyd Green for passing on their legendary skills of the pedal teel guitar to the next generation! So much nuance to playing this complicated instrument!!! The volume pedal is what I'm trying to master now. Incredibly difficult to get right. This video comforts me in knowing that the best still gets close but not perfect. :)
