Where Kid and Killer met her in South Blue, and then together as well as some other two people (I forgot their names but I think one is named Heat) they fought against the gang that killed her and won, and then they went out to sea and named their ship derived from her name

They made Shanks look like a yonko, and gave him so much hype. Kamusari was so hype and Hakoku aswell, the griffyn was so dope. Even the beginning with York was really fun. I do really feel bad for Kids ship and his crew. Kids crew designs are pretty cool and all of them being named after musical based things on one piece wiki Emmas picture is here crying. Another thing is a jolly roger is very important to a pirate crew and now they dont have theres. At the very least I hope we see his crew again and possibly Kid and Killer. Kid saying follow me even if it cost your life is poetic, also all crews have a undying belief in their captain, Luffy and his crew can back it up. The pretenders for the one piece are being eliminated from the race and the contenders stand. Next ep about to go wild aswell. W reaction V1 much love💜💜💜

For your question about Kid's Lipshade: it's burgundy red. It's confirmed too. Some panels get the dark reddish nearly black tone but the original tone of his lipshade is burgundy red. Go for it girl.

I'm not sure if the Kid and Killer scene solidified that they are dead. I think it's possible that that scene showed how Kid saw his dream to become the king of pirate crumbled before his eyes right before he's unconscious.

@@ssammu it was more than just showing how strong shanks is, remember shanks was gonna literally give him a fair 1's but kidd pulled that stunt which pissed shanks off and ended up getting one shotted instead on top of showing the very big difference between law, luffy's and kidd's crew when it comes to a dire situation. As well as shanks resolved becuz before this we've only heard stories of shanks temper and how making him mad would be a very bad thing, well we got to see the darker side of him for a good change. Also put him in the race for the one piece AND it showed this is in the end game, cause whether he's dead or not doesn't even matter becuz either way his dream is dead. There's no getting that back, this is more than just kidd getting one shotted, it did a LOT in terms of the story, it quite literally was one of the most important parts of the story

Shanks is a very mysterious character but i think since chapter 1, when you hurt his friends, he will be like a total evil/diabolical type of person because Shanks care about his people or friends. Shanks doesn't care if you attack him right away but don't touch his friends or people Shanks being evil at the end will be a total plot twist. I feel like a lot of people theorize that Shanks is gonna die by the hands of Blackbeard. And that will lead into Luffy vs Blackbeard fight. Luffy is gonna be enrage, angry against Blackbeard and that will be exciting

Shanks might likely be the last obstacle for Luffy. However, the idea that Oh Shanks is good is obvious from the beginning. Protecting allies is something even do-flamingo did. He treated his allies like family as messed up as he was. So it wouldn't be shocking to me. To see shanks turn the tide. Shanks also did kill a kid. Im putting an oda reference with Imu where the island imu destroyed was narrated by the narrator. Same with Kid being destroyed its the same reference. Luffy will take the news seriously.

Kid never even met Shanks the first time and it was Ben Beckman who took his arm. Kid was a jerk thinking he could take on Shanks crew let alone Shanks. Anyone in Shanks crew could beat Kid. Kid also seems to have forgotten that Law helped him fight Big Mom and 3ven then both of them just managed to push her of Onigashima. Also the only reason Kid has a high bounty is because he's a complete dickhead who attacks and kills innocent people I'm glad Shanks handed his arse to him I only feel sorry for Kid having an arsehole of a captain. Bro you lost me while saying Lucky Roo, Yassop or Beckman could do that. they're set up to matched with Blackbeard Pirates and even the storngest commanders would struggle with KIdd, and wouldnt beat him. Yonkos are another story. The 3 billion Berry means something and the storngest commander we know off besides Mihawk and Aokiji is not even 1.5 billions. Shanks got mad and went full power (Oda said when Shanks gets mad he is scary), and after he saw that future he went nuts, dont think his crew is matching taht feat, there's always a huge Gap between Captian and commanders, Stawhats, WB pirates, Big Mom Pirates, Beast Pirates. The captain is always on top, excluding Cross Guild because of Mihawk and Blackbeard Pirates because of Kuzan.

I feel the same about Hawkeye. It’s going be amazing to see the way they animate the rest of this arc! Every character with *real* pirate posture is despised and always the good hearted free-spirited "pirates" are loved. It's cool, but reading the manga for 20 years in my case is really repetitive. That's why I like the theory of Shanks having second intentions like the girl said, I know it's a shonen manga but having the mentor that introduced the protagonist into piracy a REAL pirate would be something really cool. Something that me with 10 years old would have no idea and something the actual me with 30 years old would find interesting. I'm emphasizing the age here because at this point One Piece has way surpassed it's original demographics and I would like to think that Oda is not writing for early-teen boys anymore.

Shanks is the character Luffy has to surpass. Zoro is first commander for a reason. Will never surpass Shanks.
