It's a fucking dope ass snare pop in the mix. It starts with the opening and then only shows itself every 2 bars after the intro reminding you it was there. Combined with an already high fidelity mix and higher end tightly tuned snare, the decay on the "pop" is fantastic. Dudes really knew what they were doing in the studio, but these guys have always been on point.
