I have a 2017 CVO Limited too and cannot wait to upgrade the audio. I already bought the new lids with the 5x7 openings but want to put 6x9's and retain the power locks. I'm guessing I need to use the American hard bag adapter kits. Im still debating on which speakers I'll use in the fairing as well as amplification! I love your shirt in this video. Thank you for this video, I've been wanting to see exactly why I can't keep my electric locks on my 17 CVO Limited with a saddle bag cut kit. Looks like the speaker basket is too close to where the cam is.

Correct there is not enough width to do the cut kit and clear the part of the actuator that connects to the lock

I make adapters that allow for 6x9 with cvo locking lids.

Those normally only work when you have 5x7” factory provisions. We stock the ones from American hardbags. Do yours also require 5x7” lids?

Jay, I bought my bike used and the previous owner cut the factory speaker plugs and I'd like to repair them. What do you use to do that?
