Hi my sweet friends! What a fun day you had! The last time I ate at a Perkins was years ago in Orlando! It still looks as wonderful as it did when I had ate there. I love breakfast! Guess what? I have a persimmon tree in my backyard! They are delicious but they have to be really ripe before you eat them. If not, they will taste extremely bitter because they contain high levels of tannins which creates a puckering sensation in your mouth and I can attest to that. LOL! When the persimmon ripens, the tannins break down and the fruit is very good. I have made persimmon pudding before. There is a town in NC that has a persimmon festival every year. Craig, I am glad that you love the gifts from me. Yayyy! Just like Frog said you are a wonderful friend! Love and hugs, Lisa.
