Volunteers Serving America’s Communities. In this episode, we take a journey into the heart of service and leadership. We are pleased to have Maj. Gen. Edward D. Phelka and CMSgt Todd H. Parson, distinguished leaders from the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), take center stage as they unravel the captivating story of this premier public service organization. From its humble beginnings with a mission to mobilize the nation's civilian aviation resources for national defense service, CAP has evolved into a formidable force as a Total Force partner and auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. In this episode, Maj. Gen. Phelka and CMSgt Parson share their experiences and shed light on how CAP's more than 64,000 members selflessly dedicate their time, energy, and expertise to serve communities.

I was a former cadet loved my time in the CAP. I just rejoined as a Senior Member with my son who is 14. I am looking forward to being involved with him in this amazing organization again.

Let me take a few moments to tell my story with CAP. I found the organization in 2007 and since then nearly 17 years later it has been a simply outstanding experience! Being physically disabled myself service in active, guard or reserve military wasn't an option, well Civil Air Patrol has given me opportunities that I wouldn't have had otherwise, and now I couldn't imagine my life without the organization or the fantastic members who I serve alongside!

The answer is yes, we helped Tennessee. We conducted Geospatial Damage assessments of the Tornado path in Nashville supporting FEMA. We used open-source imagery as well as ground based imagery from the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA), and the National Weather Service (NWS) severe storm teams. The data is then used to help provide financial support to the victims of the storm.

The headquarters n weds to moved to Colorado as senator TUBBERVILLE is anti military. Also emphasis needs to have an electric trainer like the pipistrel alfa where in Florida you can go from cadet to private pilot in twenty hours plus not competing with seniors on Sarex mission. It cost the air force eighty thousand usd per cadet to Private Pilot. I thought that was the primary mission for cadets. It is shame senior cadets are not private pilot far part 20. Would be cost effective for the defense department which is more than one hundred thousand short of pilots!
