Thanks so much Geoff! I recently had water splashing down on my feet while accelerating in my sloshing Volvo s70 T5 and this is the only mention I've found of it. I'm eager to give this a go!

The sunroof is one of the things on the 850s (next to the infamous tailgate trim) that feel like an afterthought. I think I replaced about 4 sets of clips on the tailgate cover and the sunroof broke a second time on me. Compared to the otherwise sturdy interior.... Quite irritating. But still great cars. I will keep mine for as long as I can

Any idea if the sunroof drains are similar on a 740? 2 tubes in the front 2 tubes coming out the back? I’m going to poke through the tubes with a light gauge bass guitar string and see if there’s any blockages haha

So the fuse box is sitting on top of the cabin air filter?

850 - no cabin air filter !!!

@scrambaba yes u need the filter and plastic bracket though not just a filter.. I had a 97 850 and got the bracket out of a 98... have one spare left I just found in the parts pile the other day ;)
