Yes lots of rv mirrors on eBay but I have yet to see one WITH compass for an XC90. The glass you swapped out still looked Ok despite the scratch. Do you still have and would you like to sell?

I looked for like a minute and found a few - 175379766799 for instance. Just have to spy for either the compass antenna or the little hole on the back :) I can check but not sure I still have any extra good glass. You have compass or no?

@@sneakysmeagol Yes my 2007 has compass. I sent a message to the 175379766799 listing to ask if mirror has it. I'm guessing not since it doesn't mention it. You can see it has the hole in back but I think they all have that to accommodate the option. If you find a good glass let me know! Update: seller replied w/part# 30657508 which has no compass

How i romove the platic covers?

Run a guitar pick or similar thin trim tool around the circumference of the mirror in the crack between the front and back housings - other videos show this process.

Hi where did you find the replacement glass. I have been searching for month and I still can't find auto dimming glass with the compass

Junkyards or eBay! Otherwise it's a $400 part from Volvo. Look at XC90 mirrors on eBay and spy for the telltale button hole on the back of the mirror, you'll find tons for roughly $30-80 and USUALLY if it has the button hole it's a compass mirror.

@@sneakysmeagol Is the button hole on the back on the on the right side in the between some numbers? The one in our XC90 has the sensor up top and the one i grabbed does not, BUT they both that that small "pin" hole on the back.

@@Dhartmann85 sensor up top? If it's got the pin hole and is auto dimming it likely has a compass, but you can tell easily by looking at the top of the mirror. It'll have an antenna up top that is additional for the compass. (can't see unless the mirror is removed from the car though - also can pop the front surround off and the whole UEM board board + glass will come out, you can see if there is a compass module then.)
