Heh, yeah, just got to get used to making wide turns! Traffic can make that a pain, though... Left-side traffic goes back a long time. Why? Because that was the side you had your weapon (sword etc), so when you met strangers you could easily defend yourself in case of things going bad! USA broke with this to break with UK, but France did it first, since Napoleon was left-handed and wanted his swordhand at ready! And yes, check out my other videos for some Netherlands. Sometimes they'll even blink their lights at you and other AI traffic to let you know they're being generous to let you out. Very good traffic AI in this game.

Excellent driving, and it's neat that I've finally come across some other trucks than the Scania! It's not a big deal, but hopefully that engine sound might get tweaked a little before the release :) I was watching the MAN video earlier and didn't even hear a turbo, and in this video, there's a little bit of turbo noise. Opposed to the Scania engine, with a more distinct turbo. Nice to see engine sound variation!

Yes, it supports steering wheels, I use a Logitech G27. As for how well it supports your wheel I cannot say as I have not got it. I suspect you may have to try the demo and see how well it supports yours.

Because using brand names in beta was one way SCS tried to convince some brands to let them use their name in the finished game. If a brand did not agree they had to remove it before release. Thanks, and, no, sorry, it is more like Scania TDS, in that it will slowly return to the centre unless you steer back faster yourself. You may need a while to get used to it but trust me, once you learn it taking corners will be so much easier. You can still set sensitivity and non-linearity under Controls (since keyboard in a control too in this case), I find default sensitivity with the non-linearity moved up to same position to suit me. Yes, it is good! (c: With the G25/27 gear shifter you push a button so that you can switch between two gear in the same slot, more or less.

If you meant in general -- to have fun (or in my case, relax too!). If you meant in-game specifically, to deliver various cargo and to improve your truck and hone your skills such as "eco driving" (to reduce your fuel consumption) and such. No end-game per se, just open world free roam (well, the cargo you pick, or are assigned at first, dictates where you need to go). Hope that answers your question. (c:

I suspect Scania is often used because they got it fully licensed, which unfortunately has not happened yet with all the brands (see SCS blog). SCS won't give up, though, but try to find the right person to talk to (that alone is quite an undertaking, they posted recently). As for sound, I know some things have changed from build to build, and us beta testers give feedback. (c:

From roughly 230€ and upwards, so shopping around can save a lot (some charge almost twice as much as that). G25 did not get much cheaper when G27 arrived, and once it did it got a lot harder to find (or I would have gotten one to save more money).

TrackIR is a camera, of sorts, that either sends out IR via diods on the side and you wear a reflective clip on the brim of a cap (comes with the set), or you get the "fancy" active IR clip that mounts onto headsets (separate), in which case the camera simply read those instead. Either I've gotten better at driving manual in this game or the 1.3 patch just made it easier to go up hill. I kept a constant 55 mph up what seems like a never ending hill for 15 or 20 minutes. I finally got sleepy and stopped at a rest stop to save my game, but I still have some more miles to go up hill. Geez... the different elevations in this game is sick.

You have to find job centres in cities. When you get to a city and have time before the delivery or after picking a load up, drive around to find them (the map (M) can show you where they are (as [?] icons)) to discover them. (c:

All trucks are limited to 90 km/h or 56 mph, yes. EU law these days, guess they went with that. (c: Well, the game can download some default radios for you, and I tend to listen to only one, which I discovered through the game -- EKR Rock Radio. Look them up online if you want, all rock. (c: But you can always add more stations as long as they have got MP3 streams -- any other type stream is not guaranteed to work. Hope that answers your questions?

Are you talking about screen resolution or Scaling (under Advanced Settings)? If it is the latter, then higher do indeed demand a lot more. As do high quality shadows and mirrors, as well as mirror distance. Hard to say much more since I don't know anything about your system.

As for heavy vs light loads I have not sat down and done a study of it, but unless I am mistaken there is a difference, yes. You will be able to download preset radio streams or add your own via a configuration file. Or, add you own music files, as before. Sort of a "CD-player" or radio option. (c:

I tend to catch up with trucks, I have yet to see one overtake me unless I go slow, if that was the question. (c: Those keeping the same speed, well, guess I never catch up to them! Wow! Seems like TrackIR makes the game a whole lot more enjoyable! If you do have any influence on what developers do, maybe you could mention about making the AI reverse! I hate when you're trying to back into a dock/spot near the road, and they pull up right behind you and don't move at all as you get closer! Also, do you know if the only transmission in game is a 12 speed?

Go to graphics settings (I assume you mean this) and make sure the button says "Simple settings" (if not, click on the button that says "Advanced settings") and then click on one of the four settings below: Low, Medium, High or Ultra. No need to know all the words then, and you will notice what runs smoothly on your computer. (c:

Have you gone under Advanced Settings and upped everything too? If so, I can only assume that is is different on ATI/AMD and Nvidia, but I cannot say for certain as haven't got another PC with an AMD card... Maybe it is how the engine handles them or maybe the cards are just different?
