9.20t in our L90E "stand by" machine loading iron silt with a 3,2 m3 bucket made for lighter material, had to back up fast and brake to lift the bucket, still stable even though exceeding tipping load by almost 1 tons. The new L90G we got feels very unstable at about 8 tons...

Well, it lifts 20t no problem up here in a iron mine and operators on it seems to like it a lot since it's really stable. My own machine a L120F, easily lifts 11.2t when loading trucks with a mixture of olivine, lime and quartzite(!?), for making iron pellets. Though it happens rarely since I usually only deal with sand.

Whoostah, its a common problem with high flow hydraulics of modern equipment. Old 90's machines feel stable because the valves only allow so many oil to pass and lowering the bucket is slow. Modern machines have fast hydraulics often with a bypass around the main control valve for quick lowering of the bucket, which makes it feel unstable..
