Wayne Connelly and his Terminator are out on the road transporting scrap metal all over England. Wherever he goes, his Volvo FH truck, decorated with images from the full trilogy of Terminator films, is always the centre of attention and Wayne wouldn't have it any other way.

Our roads are terrible - particularly the outside lane on motorways, where there's nearly always tramlines worn into the road by all the HGVs -- they tend to have more axles on both tractor and trailer to distribute the loading to ground.

Christopher Woods Trucks here in Greece have 1 axle, and the trailer has 3 (as yours). I don't think that this is the reason. What is the permitted max gross weight in UK? In Greece it is 40.000kg. I also wonder if in UK or other EU countries gross weight is >40 tons, and if a truck with legal gross weight of 43 tons (as example) from uk can move in Greece legaly

The UK legal limit for drive axles is 11.5 tonnes. JPR, there's a lot of categories... www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/211948/simplified-guide-to-lorry-types-and-weights.pdf . A 3-axle artic can have a MGW of 26 tonnes. 4-axle can have 36 tonnes, or 38 if it has twin tyres and "road friendly suspension" - and the maximum weight over each axle does not exceed 8.55 tones.

Nice truck. I would rather work for my firm, where we get bog-standard day cabs with NO luxury extras (although the latest fleet do have night heaters and air-con) but instead of bling bling we walk home each night with extra ca-ching ca-ching :D (In other words, we get paid a half decent wage, rather than paid peanuts but at least drive a nice truck). Just saying :)
