Hi! I was wondering if you could help me figure this out: My Volvo V40 D2 R-Design 2013 model, manual transmission has been popping up one ugly image on the display where the view from the top of the car (plan of the car) appears when the driver's door is open. This image is about the size of the car plan on the display. It flashes and disappears once it catches my attention. What could this be? The last time this happened, I did an emergency stop and reversed the car because I missed a turn in a very poorly lit road. I've searched the vehicle manual and the internet to find a possible explanation but couldn't find anything. Also you should know that whenever I do an emergency stop, the brake pedal vibrates as though the brake disks have bumps on them. Any idea what this might be? Or suggestions where I can find answers will be very appreciated. Thank you.

Hi. If you think that its the same as the sign of an open door you might need to check the doorlocks. Ome of th might be faulty. About the brake it is normal that of you do an emergency brake you might feel the bumpy brake behaviour. This happens when the abs system starts working. Good luck.
